  NOT 1, NOT 2, NOT 3, BUT 4 CARS WERE BROKEN INTO LAST NIGHT! I’M NOT SURE IF THIS IS BECAUSE SOMEONE DECIDED TO LEAVE THE GATE OPEN 24/7, ALLOWING JUST ABOUT ANYONE TO COME IN, BUT THIS IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS AND FRUSTRATING. I’D LIKE TO BE THE FIRST TO START A PETITION TO HAVE THE GATE KEPT CLOSED AND TO DEMAND BETTER SECURITY MEASURES FOR OUR COMMUNITY. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY.

  We’ve had a few maintenance issues in our apartment over the last few months but the maintenance team here is always good about trying to get them resolved quickly and follow up on how things are going if we see them out walking around.

  I've been living here for 10 months and I cannot recommend this place to anyone. I fell in love with it at first because of the gated community, dog park, and overall look of the model room. However, since I've lived here, they've changed policies on trash, parking, and entry to the complex a ton. This wouldn't be a problem if it was consistent, but it's not. On top of this, my A/C has been broken consistently for about 4 months now. It's gone out twice since I've been here. The first time they "fixed it" it was only "fixed" for about a month. Then it went out again. When I mean no AC, I mean NONE. I filled out a repair order about 3 months ago and it feels like they don't even care. They send people to come "fix it" but every time I get the run-around; "yeah I don't know what's wrong, I gotta talk to the contractors" or "alright I'll come back next week to fix it". My electricity bill has skyrocketed and I can barely sleep at night. I wake up covered in a puddle of sweat, and I can't even crack windows open to let some air in because it's 95°F with this Texas summer heat. This last time they came, the maintenance guy didn't even know what he was here for. Then he proceeded to start painting over the wall where the A/C broke (the AC leaked everywhere and there was mold on the drywall). I now have a moldy wall with paint over it. I expected to get moved to a different unit or at least get credit off of my lease because our A/C seems impossible to fix and it's extremely hot these days, but nah, I just have to wait while they keep me in the dark about the repairs. When I asked for a partial refund from my lease, they said I needed to go through renters insurance, they didn't even try to consider helping me. They did sprinkler inspections at one point and they brought the whole calvary for that. I'm talking like 5 people for one sprinkler. Extremely fast turnaround on that. I don't know why they can't do that for our A/C if they have the manpower to send an army for a sprinkler that failed an inspection. Last but not least there is a wasp infestation here. I HAD a balcony I wanted to use. I called pest control on multiple ocassions and every time they sent someone to take care of them, the wasps came back in a week. I loved this place at the start. Not anymore. Maybe it's different for other people though. For reference, don't stay at apartment 4406. The wall where the A/C unit is housed has mold painted over.

  This apartment complex used to have 5 stars when it was managed under Portico, but ever since Murn Management has taken over, the complex has continued to decline in aesthetic and in customer service. Granted the past management and leasing team weren’t perfect, but they always took accountability and went above and beyond to fix issues for the residents. Under Murn we’ve had issues with pests, trash pickup, the parking garage gate, and the mailroom. Most recently the biggest issue is the mailroom where we get our mail and packages. As you can see in the photos, multiple mailboxes are being broken into, as well as scratches on the sides where entire sections of mailboxes are being popped open and cleaned out. The management team has not sent out any form of communication or notice about these damages, or when we can expect things to be fixed. When the office team was questioned they stated that the mailroom was not their responsibility, and they have nothing to do with residents mail. They said that it is up to USPS and our local mail man to fix the issue. I understand that it is not their legal obligation to solve the crime, and find my missing mail, but a good ethical management team would at the bare minimum, notify their residents, if not also contact the police on behalf of its paying residents. I’m just confused on the logistics of the local mail man being able to reach out to all residents and let us know to be careful with important mail or packages due to ongoing issues? And I know that the office team is capable of communicating because residents were sent an email to communicate that packages were being dropped off in the office and needed to be picked up quickly. So they can reach out to complain about packages being incorrectly delivered, but they can’t take 2 minutes to send out a notice about mail being stolen, and mailboxes being broken into. Overall the complex doesn’t feel comfortable and safe anymore, especially since the parking garage gate has been broken for months… with zero communication or updates. My family is ready to move out once our lease is up, and I wouldn’t rent here again unless all these issues were addressed, and the management team steps up to make real changes that actually last. If you tour the complex please bring up these issues, and ask all the questions, and demand answers. Don’t get stuck paying extra for all of these luxury amenities that we haven’t even been getting!
