I’ve lived here for almost 6 months now. So far so good, but I do have to agree with other tenants regarding the parking situation. It’s honestly so frustrating to see all the parking spots filled with guests who don’t have a parking tag. I understand having friends/family over and whatnot, but parking spots should go to residents. We have no other choice but to park by the leasing office, and then when we do, we get emails saying those spots are for future guests. Ive asked about covered parking by my building a couple of times just to make sure I have a close by parking spot after a 12 hour shift, but unfortunately no luck. Hopefully the parking situation gets resolved quickly, I would like to renew my lease here since this is a really nice area..

My experience here was very disappointing. I would not recommend living in this apartment complex. When you move out, they charge you for the smallest things, even for normal wear and tear. The carpets were already old and dirty, yet tenants are charged when they decide to replace them. Management looks for every possible reason to add extra fees. Communication was poor, and the move-out process felt unfair. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

As a resident paying substantial monthly rent, I expect maintenance work to be sanitary and properly completed. Based on the condition, it would appear that used items are sometimes installed. Also, when I bring issues forward to the supervisor my concerns are not taken seriously, and interactions often feel dismissive and unprofessional.

I rarely leave reviews, but after everything that occurred during my tenancy, I feel prospective residents deserve to hear my experience. During my time at Lakeview at Parkside, I repeatedly documented issues involving excessive noise from an upstairs neighbor, barking dogs, a loud exterior AC compressor located outside my bedroom window, maintenance concerns, and an overnight AC outage during Texas summer heat. While some issues were eventually addressed after repeated follow-up, others were never resolved, or at least not resolved in a manner that reasonably addressed the impact they were having on my day-to-day living experience. One of the most uncomfortable experiences occurred when I was stopped and questioned by the on-site courtesy officer while simply walking around the lake on the property. I found the encounter unnecessary and felt harassed by the interaction. When I raised my concerns, I was disappointed to learn that management believed the officer's actions were appropriate. As a single father with custody responsibilities, these issues were more than minor inconveniences. I repeatedly communicated my concerns to management and ultimately requested corporate review regarding my living situation before making the difficult decision to move out. What happened next is what concerns me most. After moving out, I was initially assessed charges exceeding $14,000. The balance was later reduced to approximately $4,976. While I appreciated the reduction, I continue to dispute the remaining charges because I do not believe they adequately account for the documented maintenance, noise, habitability, and lease termination concerns that were raised long before I vacated the apartment. Despite extensive documentation, emails, maintenance requests, videos, photographs, and requests for corporate review, the matter has since evolved into a credit reporting dispute. What disappointed me most was not that problems occurred. Every apartment community experiences issues. What disappointed me was the feeling that documented resident concerns, repeated requests for assistance, and requests for corporate review were never given meaningful consideration before the situation escalated into a financial dispute. My advice to prospective residents is simple; document absolutely everything from the day you move in until the day you move out. Save every maintenance request, every email, every text message, every photograph, and every video. Keep records of conversations, repair requests, and ongoing concerns. If a disagreement ever arises regarding maintenance, move-out charges, lease obligations, or account balances, your documentation may be the only thing standing between your version of events and theirs. I genuinely wish things had been handled differently. Even today, I remain open to a fair and reasonable resolution.

Update: Thank you for responding. While ARS may be a separate account resolution department, the disputed charges are move-out charges tied directly to my residency at Lakeview and move-out experience. I have already asked ARS/Jilli Evans multiple times to escalate this so I could speak with someone else willing to fully resolve this matter but that request has not been meaningfully addressed. The items still needing resolution include: the vendor invoice that appears to reference a different apartment number, the repair/damage charge amount not clearly matching the supporting invoice, the final balance changing more than once after I disputed the charges, and inspection fees that have not been fully supported with the applicable lease language. Rather than asking me to remove my review, I would appreciate Lakeview management helping escalate this internally to corporate or someone with authority to review the disputed charges, documentation, and unresolved balance. I am still willing to resolve this fairly, but referring me back to the same unresolved account resolution process is not a solution. Certainly was not expecting to deal with this as it didn’t occur with your sister property prior to moving to LP. Original: I lived at Lakeview at Parkside for 8 years, and while I had a long history there and enjoyed calling it home, my move-out experience has been extremely disappointing. I’m still having to dispute unnecessary move-out fees that feel excessive and unfair, in dealing with JILLI EVANS…. I understand being charged for actual damages but normal wear and tear should be considered, especially for a long-term resident. This “process” has felt frustrating, unreasonable, and it has unfortunately left a very negative final impression after many years there. My biggest advice to future residents is to document everything!! Take detailed move-in and move-out photos/videos, save all communication, and ask for written explanations of any potential charges before you leave. Not saying it’ll work (as it hasn’t in my favor so far) but better to be prepared than not. After 8 years, I really hoped to leave on better terms, but the move-out fee dispute has overshadowed the overall experience. If you're thinking of moving to a community “managed” by Management Support, DONT! The office crew is amazing but corporate is very disappointing….
