Honest Review: This is a nice apartment complex, conveniently located and well managed and well maintained. What makes it better than most of its competitors are the management and maintenance staff, who have impressed me with their friendly service, efficient repairs done in a timely manner, and their helpfulness when problems or needs or requests arise.
I am honestly impressed by Erika (Property Manager), Veronica, Tonya, Irving (Lead Maintenance), Ricardo (Assistant Maintenance), and Luis. They work hard keeping a large complex looking nice and functioning for the tenants. They have all always been friendly to me and I respect their work here. Almost every day I get a wave and a smile from them. They are good people.
As for the complex facilities, here are some things I like about it:
1.The Swimming Pool
This is popular with the kids in the summer months, but adults enjoy it too. I've spent days enjoying the water and relaxing atmosphere. The maintenance crew keep it very clean, and I see them out there every day sweeping the pool for leaves so it looks "picture perfect" even during the fall and winter months. One day this summer I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Property Management team had placed several inflatable "beach balls" and floating "chairs" in the pool for tenants use. It is little thing like that is making this a nice place to live.
2. The Fitness Center or “Gym”
There is a nicely equipped fitness center, with multiple stations for weight machines or resistance machines, 4 treadmills, 2 recumbent bikes, 2 stationary bikes, free weights (dumbells of various weights) etc. There is also a space for yoga if you are into that. It is always clean, spacious, has a rest room in the building. It is like having a private gym. It is a very nice feature of this complex.
3. The Dog Park
There is a fenced, gated, "Dog Park" area with free doggy-bags for poop, and it looks like a great place for dogs to run around unleashed while an owner sits at the picnic table or plays with the dog. Much appreciated.
4. The "Game Room" or "club house" near the pool.
This is a nice air-conditioned room, with some tables and chairs and appropriate if you want to have a get-together with some neighbors (e.g. if you want to play a board game with people) , or if you want to study in a quiet place. The walls are huge windows, it is often unoccupied, and is a nice place to sit overlooking the pool. I like it.
5. The Playground for Kids
This complex contains a nice “jungle gym” type outdoor playground that is colorfully painted and has a nice open space for kids to play around or run around, while parents sit and watch from nearby picnic table or benches. It is located in a grassy open area of the complex center. It is a nice feature.
6. The Walking Path
There is a paved (concrete) walking path that goes around the complex, it is outside, but inside the complex or between the buildings. Parts of it are shaded by large trees, and it provides a nice quiet, safe walking path for people who like to walk for exercise. I like it.
7. The Gas BBQ Grill
There is a nice new large gas BBQ Grill station for tenants to use to grill their food outside, next to the pool. It has a gazebo type seating area too, and some families use it to cook outside and enjoy the weather with friends. It is a nice feature and free to use, especially as grilling is prohibited in apartments due to fire safety concerns. So you don’t need to own a grill, you can use the freely available one at the complex. I like that.
8. TIP: If you move here, and have guests visit, make sure they are following the parking rules. There are reserved spots, and marked visitor spots, and the tenant parking areas are enforced.
9. Satisfaction depends on the person and I learned years ago that you can't make everyone happy. I have a good friend who has lived here for about 20 years! There are also tenants who have lived here for 15 or more years. That says something very positive about the place. My advice: See for yourself.
