  Great location! With the longhorn steakhouse and Buccee’s across the street, these apartments are a great place to live especially if you are attending TWU or UNT. Amy in the Epic Apartments office is phenomenal and will take care of your every need! She’s very kind, considerate and extremely respectful.

  I’ve been living here for a little over a month and it has been FANTASTIC. The maintenance team as a whole is incredible, especially Nick!! They are always so prompt and fix anything big or small so fast!

  I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt inclined to write this one about Epic. I’ve lived in a few apartments throughout Denton and this has by far been the BEST. The inside of the apartments are absolutely beautiful and the location could not be more perfect. You have the movie theater on one side and Buccees on the other! The best thing about living at Epic is the friendly staff. Deborah in the leasing office is absolutely amazing and has been incredibly attentive to everything. I know that if there’s a problem she will be right on top of it making sure it’s taken care of ASAP. I’m so grateful to be able to live at Epic. If you’re looking for a place to call home, then this is it!

  DO NOT LIVE HERE! I lived here when they first opened and was the first tenant in my apartment. At first everything was fine, but then the issues started trickling in. The AC consistently broke for the two summers I lived there and management refused to fix it for 3 months because it “wasn’t hot enough” outside despite it reaching nearly 90 degrees inside of my apartment. The washer and fridge broke within a week of me living there even though they were supposed to be brand new. They didn’t send me a bill for things and then tried to evict me with no notice, which I then paid the bill immediately, like I would’ve done if I got it in the first place. Believe what the others say when they say management is money hungry. When I left they charged me a couple hundred dollars so I paid it, eager to get as far away from this place as possible. Now NEARLY TWO YEARS later I’m getting a call from a collection agency saying I owe them $145 more dollars for “lightbulbs, air filters, etc,” and that I’ve been notified. I HAVE NOT EVER BEEN NOTIFIED. After the last bill I paid I never received another call or letter saying I owed them any money. By now there should’ve been one or two more tenants living in my apartment, I’ve moved twice since living there. Money hungry is an understatement, stay as far away as possible, they’ll keep trying to milk you even after you’ve moved on YEARS later. If they wanted me to pay for lightbulbs, why wasn’t it included on my original bill when I left? Why did I pay them nearly $300 then? Outrageous and unprofessional. I never saw the same person in the office and no one ever knew what was going on. I never got straight answers and was given different information for each person I came across. Management got a little better when I left, but they try to conceal their unprofessional behavior with tenant parties and amenities. When I moved in they didn’t even have numbers on the buildings so no one could even find my apartment. If this is “luxury” I think I’ll stay far away from any apartments labeled “luxury” for the rest of my life. Edit: I forgot to mention the ants and how pest control never showed up when scheduled. They’d let me know pest control was coming and I’d sit around all day with no sign of them. Bugs were a consistent problem. When it rained my balcony door leaked all over the floor. My bedroom door never latched closed fully. So much more I could keep thinking of, the list just goes on. No words can describe how disappointing this place was. I think the only bonus is the pizza place downstairs. I wasn’t even planning on leaving a review but the collection agency contacting me was the final straw. Absolutely ridiculous, I’ve never been more frustrated with management of a complex than this one.
