Living at Astoria has been an outstanding experience from start to finish. The community is well-maintained, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed, making it feel like home the moment you arrive. The amenities are top-notch and consistently clean, and the overall atmosphere is both welcoming and comfortable.
One of the highlights of Astoria is the management and maintenance team. They are responsive, professional, and truly care about residents’ needs. Any requests are handled quickly and efficiently, which makes a huge difference in day-to-day living.
The location is also incredibly convenient, with easy access to shopping, dining, and major roads, while still maintaining a quiet and relaxing environment. It strikes the perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility.
Overall, I highly recommend Astoria to anyone looking for a well-managed, comfortable, and enjoyable place to live. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into creating a positive living experience here.

Just a typical college student apartment complex. I wanted to rate it higher, but there have been multiple instances where management deflects responsibility for issues around the complex and fails to actually address or resolve them.
Pros:
- Nice pool
- Fast maintenance team (at least in my experience)
- Mostly tidy grounds
- Plenty of visitor parking
Cons:
- A tree fell onto my vehicle, and when I contacted management, I was told they would reach out to their regional director. I never received a follow-up. The entire process took about three weeks, with me having to repeatedly initiate communication. Management (Jon, I believe) never reached out directly, which was extremely frustrating.
- The WiFi goes out randomly about 1–2 times a month. Instead of taking responsibility or working toward a solution, management consistently deflects blame to the provider. At this point, it seems reasonable to consider switching providers.
- During my first year living here, both the water and electricity would go out for no apparent reason (not weather-related). There were a couple of instances where outages lasted up to 15 hours, which was extremely inconvenient.
- Trash valet “service”: The complex states pickup occurs between 6–7 PM, yet there have been multiple times I’ve come home at 9 PM and service is still ongoing. Charging a $25 fee for having trash out late feels hypocritical given the inconsistency.
Overall, it’s a decent place to live, but the lack of accountability from management makes it difficult to recommend.

I’ve had a great experience at Astoria Student Living in Denton. The community is clean, modern, and really designed with students in mind. The amenities are a huge plus—everything from the study areas to the fitness center. The apartments themselves are well-maintained, comfortable, and feel like a home rather than just student housing. One of the standout parts of my experience has been the management team, especially the leasing manager, Lauren George. She has been incredibly helpful, professional, and responsive from the very beginning.
I’ve lived here for a year! Very nice staff and great maintenance. They take care of everything quickly and efficiently, and their communication is excellent. They’re always friendly, approachable, and willing to help with any issues that come up. Requests are handled in a timely manner, and you can tell they really care about keeping the property well-maintained and residents satisfied. Overall, it’s been a positive experience living here.
