There was a drive-by that happened while I was living here. Looks like the sewage and trash is still a problem and it also looks like half the units have black mold which makes me feel better about having to live with black mold in my apartment for 2 years here. Also was charged $500 after move-out when I’m the one who fixed everything from the obviously kicked in door to missing window locks to cleaning the carpet and the water ran BLACK! Oh and a million other things. You’re welcome. Oh and I was told I would be reimbursed (probably because I exposed them on a review about them having me live in black mold and not removing it and leaving me without heat when it was 9 degrees on Christmas Eve). Never got that check even though I’ve both emailed and spoke to management on the phone about it. I’m not surprised and please do not bother with your bs “we care and take this seriously” response. Nobody is buying it.

** addendum 5/12 I do want to acknowledge that the dumpster situation has improved significantly as of this morning since my original review, and I appreciate seeing movement on that issue. I hope the same urgency will now be applied to the remaining maintenance and pest concerns.” **addendum** 5/6 - The response to my review was honestly comical. Suggesting I reach out again to the same property management email that has already been inconsistent, dismissive, and lacking empathy is simply a waste of my time and bandwidth. At this point, repeating the same unresolved concerns to the same unresponsive channel is not a solution. @clearworthresidential please contact me directly. ***addendum** 5/2 because I went to the office to complain today they charged me a $75.00 lease violation for disruption.....the unmitigated gall**** Serious Health & Safety Issues – Beware I strongly urge anyone considering this property to look beyond the leasing office (which is beautiful) and actually drive the grounds before signing a lease. What you see upfront is not what you get. Today, I came home to raw sewage overflowing from the toilets in my unit. My husband, who is in a wheelchair, was barefoot in sewage water, crying, trying to clean it up himself. This is not just unacceptable—it’s a serious health hazard. And this is the third time in two months it has happened. When I went to the leasing office to report it, I was told it was “being addressed” and was essentially dismissed and told to leave. There was no urgency, no empathy, and no clear accountability. This is not an isolated issue. For over two months, we have had: Black mold on the windows A patio door that does not lock (security risk) A front porch light that still does not work despite repair attempts. A dumpster area that is completely out of control – multiple mattresses, a broken sectional, shopping carts, and trash everywhere, attracting roaches and rodents An ongoing roach issue in the apartment despite repeated efforts to address it These conditions are unsanitary and unsafe, and they have not been resolved despite multiple requests. I am requesting that Clear Worth Residential contact me directly to address these ongoing issues and provide a clear plan for resolution. Until then, I cannot recommend this property to anyone and would strongly encourage prospective residents to look elsewhere.

We’ve been dealing with a broken dishwasher for over three months, and the complete lack of action from management has been extremely frustrating. We’ve submitted multiple maintenance requests and called several times, and every time we’re told it will be fixed “today.” It never happens. At this point, it feels like our concerns are simply being ignored. When we spoke to the staff again and clearly explained that the dishwasher hasn’t worked for months, the response we received was unacceptable. Instead of fixing the issue, we were told that if we want to move to another unit, we would have to pay for all the moving expenses ourselves. It’s disappointing and unprofessional to treat residents this way. Basic maintenance requests should not take months to address, and residents should not be expected to pay extra to fix problems caused by poor management. Overall, the staff has been unhelpful and dismissive, and the lack of accountability is very concerning. I would strongly caution anyone considering moving here.

Rating: 0/5 Stars Title: Non-existent management, rude staff, and a broken dishwasher since January — plus they want a fee to move me If you value working appliances, professional staff, or basic accountability, do not sign a lease here. I am currently a resident at Verlaine on the Parkway (5151 Verde Valley Ln), and living here has been a nightmare solely due to the gross incompetence of the management team. My specific issue is the broken dishwasher. It has not worked since January. That is several months of hand-washing dishes despite paying full rent for a unit that was supposed to include functioning amenities. I have submitted multiple maintenance requests, followed up in person, and tried calling. The result? Complete silence and zero action. When I realized they were not going to fix it, I offered a reasonable solution: move me to another apartment within the same community where the appliances actually work. Their response was shocking but, in hindsight, completely on brand for this management team. They told me that "a dishwasher is not an emergency," so they would allow me to switch units — but only if I paid a transfer fee. Let me repeat that: They refuse to fix my appliance, refuse to prioritize a request that is months old, and then expect me to pay them more money to solve a problem they caused. The management here is the opposite of proactive. They are reactive only if you catch them in a good mood, which is rare. The front desk staff are incredibly rude. Instead of helping resolve issues, they seem annoyed that residents even exist. When you bring up a request that has been pending for weeks, they shrug it off or dismiss you entirely. The amenities on the website look great (pool, fitness center), but those don't matter when your basic appliances don't work. Even the valet trash service — which they force you to pay for — often fails to show up. A dishwasher may not be a "life or death" emergency, but when I've been without one for months and you refuse to fix it or move me without a penalty, that's not management — that's theft of services. All the maintenance requests take much longer to get addressed. Look at the 3.1-star rating on Google — it is inflated. Look at the detailed reviews on ApartmentRatings where the epIQ grade is a D-. This property is old (built in 1977) and it shows, not just in age but in the lack of care from the staff. Save yourself the stress. Find an apartment where management actually respects you enough to answer a maintenance request within three months — and doesn't try to charge you for their own failures. This place is a mess.
