  This property is so quaint! Everything is so green and peaceful. I love walking through here on my way to the pool.

  We lived in the Corners for 4 years and we had loved it!! No problems, and one of the great things was that we moved apartments easily when we needed a bigger apartment. Also maintenance was amazing, the guys were all so nice and quick! However, the problems we had were with the office. Once we officially moved out they all the sudden said they had all these “policy changes”. Like going from a 30 day to a 60 day notice to vacate, and changing contractors etc. We were notified of none of these changes, esp since they said that they had started at the beginning of the year, and yet we had lived there for longer than that and none of that was sent in an email or mentioned in the lease? Anyway, each time we had moved apartments they were disgusting. Dog hair, dog smell, cockroaches in the cupboards, showers gross, fridges had mold, washer and dryer had mold and filled with dog hair. I would spend days scrubbing and scrubbing and making sure things were spotless. Even scrubbing leftover paint off the floors. Also when we moved in they said we could have nails in the walls, anchors, etc. (we remember this because it was different than other complexes and so I was surprised by that policy and excited that I would be able to decorate more). Never charged for holes when we moved apartments. However with our final move out they claimed there were so many damages in the apartment, holes in the walls, etc.When I was upset about money taken from our deposit, they got upset and said “I thought you were calling to thank us for not charging for the other damages that were bad and we had to write off.” Um damages that I wasn’t aware of, that I hadn’t been charged before, etc? They acted like there was nothing I could do and they were doing me a favor. Two other friends I had lived in the village and had the same experience. Charges for something that was previously there before, and that in no way was their fault. Be aware of this before you move out! You probably won’t get your full deposit back like before with the “new contractors and policy changes”
