  I had a delightful experience while touring the Princeton Court apartment complex. The apartment is very well kept, and the staff were kind. Mia was the leasing specialist who assisted me. She is very kind and she treated me with respect, and as a friend. She answered all my questions effectively and gave me a warm welcome. The pool is great. It is very clean and I love how it goes up to 8 feet deep. Wonderful complex!

  I honestly regret insisting on moving here despite my roommate warning me not to. The water situation is ridiculous. We’re dealing with almost daily water shutoffs because of renovations, making it difficult to live normally. The parking situation is just as bad. Apparently, you can live here, but parking your vehicle is a different story. I’m constantly being threatened with towing over minor vehicle damage. It’s stressful to feel like your car is at risk almost every day. Apparently they want to make their community look good by towing away vehicles but have constant water outages and MASSIVE ROACHES AND LIZARDS. To make matters worse, management is extremely rude and unprofessional and NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. My roommate warned me not to move here, and I should have listened. Between the constant water shutoffs, parking issues, and management’s attitude, I would strongly encourage anyone considering this property to think twice and do their research first.

  I lived at Princeton Court Apartments for four long years, and I am honestly relieved to finally be gone. From the outside, the property may look decent, and the location is convenient, but my experience living here was extremely disappointing. PROS: The location is probably the biggest advantage. It is close to Highway 75 and major tollways, and Walmart, Target, and other stores are within walking distance. CONS: Old, Deteriorated Units: The inside of the units is, in my experience, in very poor condition. My unit had persistent mold and mildew odors, and the overall condition felt old and neglected. My suggestion to management would be to focus less on making the exterior look new and put more effort into actually repairing and bringing the individual units up to a decent standard for the people who live in them. Cheap, Worn-Out Carpets: The carpeting was extremely low quality, old, and very thin. It added to the overallthin. It added to the overall feeling that the units had not been properly updated or maintained. Pests: There is a monthly pest-control charge, yet I continued to deal with roaches. In my experience, the age and condition of the property made it extremely difficult to keep the apartment pest-free, no matter how much cleaning or treatment was done. Mold and Mildew: The mold and mildew issues were particularly concerning. The units can have a persistent musty smell, and I felt that these concerns were not taken seriously enough when reported. Water Outages: Be prepared for frequent water shutoffs. During my four years there, there were numerous interruptions and repeated notices about water being unavailable for repairs. On one occasion, my water was off for three days. I had to stay in a hotel during that time, and my request for reimbursement was denied because management said the situation was outside their control. Safety and Security: The entrance gate was frequently left open, including at night, which made the gated-community aspect feel questionable. I also noticed people around the property at odd hours whom I did not recognize, and parking was often problematic. Based on my experience, I did not feel comfortable walking around the property at night and would strongly advise residents to use caution. Vehicle Policy: One thing I found especially frustrating was the contrast between the strict standards management appeared to have for residents' vehicles and the condition of the property itself. Even small dents or chips on a vehicle could become an issue, while there were much more significant maintenance and property-condition concerns that, in my experience, did not seem to receive the same level of attention. Leasing Office and Management: Communication and organization were among my biggest frustrations. I experienced what I felt was poor communication, disorganization, and a lack of urgency when dealing with tenant concerns. If you live here, keep copies of every email, notice, maintenance request, payment record, photograph, and other communication. Having your records could become very important. Bottom Line: After four years, the convenient location was simply not enough to outweigh the problems I experienced. In my opinion, management should prioritize bringing the interior of the units up to a decent living standard instead of focusing primarily on making the exterior look attractive. I would not recommend Princeton Court Apartments to anyone unless they absolutely have no other options. DO NOT MOVE HERE, DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE OUTSIDE OF PROPERTY. LIVING HERE IS NOTHING BUT HEALTH HAZARD & HEADACHES. MOLD, ROACHES, BED BUGS ARE CONSTANT COMPANION, NO MATTER THE SEASON. I honestly don’t know how I managed to stay there for four years. Moving felt like too much of a hassle at the time, so I endured it until I simply couldn’t anymore. Four years was more than enough. I am genuinely glad to be gone.
