  We lived here for 18 months. Overall, it was a good experience. PROS: You’re not going to find a better budget, the location is great for travel by car, and the apartment manager is amazing. CONS: Some roach problems, and not the safest area for walking. First of all, Jazmine is the BEST apartment manager you could ever ask for. She is incredibly accommodating, understanding, and communicative. She treats every resident like family, and she is a genuinely kind person. We can’t say enough good things about her. We did have some roach problems. However, Jazmine truly did EVERYTHING in her power to help us, eventually moving us to another unit. At the end of the day, it’s an older apartment complex, and it’s unfortunately going to have roaches. The complex is also not in the safest area; I would highly recommend getting a doorbell camera and being extra careful after dark. Overall, you get what you pay for. (Amenities aren’t spectacular, lots of layers of paint in the units, etc.) I think Preston Village is great for a first apartment & great for families on a budget. Jazmine is truly a gem and we were sad to leave her!!

  Going on year three and couldn’t be happier! The pool is amazing and the grills actually work unlike other places I’ve lived. I’m very much looking forward to spending the summer here! Jazmine and the ladies at the front office are so helpful and nice.

  Richdale Management was, without question, the worst property management company I've ever dealt with. After moving out, I was billed for numerous charges that no one could clearly explain. Several appeared to come from internal companies Richdale uses for billing, yet I was never given a clear justification for what I was actually paying for. Every time I asked for an explanation, I got vague or inconsistent responses. I disputed the charges by sending a 70-page letter with supporting exhibits, emails, lease provisions, photographs, and other documentation. I had records of virtually every interaction. None of it mattered. Instead of addressing the issues I raised or explaining the disputed charges, Richdale simply sent the account to collections. To make matters worse, I had already provided documentation showing that my dog was an Emotional Support Animal (ESA), yet I was still assessed pet-related charges. People always say, "Keep everything in writing." I did. I documented everything, saved every email, and organized extensive evidence. It still wasn't enough to get Richdale to fairly address my concerns before sending me to collections. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend renting from any property managed by Richdale.

  management and staff were very accommodating and nice, good floor plans for units as well, was satisfied with our visit and looking forward to future plans
