Maryella is a new staff member at Palencia Apartments, and honestly, my experience with her has been really disappointing. I’ve spoken to her twice, and both times she came across as quite rude and arrogant. There should be basic courtesy and respect toward residents, and that’s what seems to be missing. Especially, her tone feels dismissive, like she doesn’t really care, and it makes communication uncomfortable. It’s gotten to the point where I’d rather avoid reaching out to her altogether, which shouldn’t be the case in a place where residents rely on office staff for support. I really think management should take a closer look at her, because poor treatment like this can push residents away over time. On the other hand, Elijah has been consistently polite and professional. Even when there are delays, the way he communicates makes a big difference. He’s patient, respectful, and genuinely seems to care. That kind of attitude goes a long way and, honestly, it makes it easier to stay patient as a resident. At the end of the day, attitude matters a lot. If communication isn’t handled well, it’s hard for residents to feel respected.
