  I have been a resident of this property for 10+ years. My vehicle was authorized by the leasing office to get towed for "unauthorized expired resident sticker" which they do not even provide. The leasing office has all my vehicle information and I just renewed my lease into 2027. I paid $30 for an Uber and $220 to get my vehicle back. The property manager, Adalberto Baltazar Escobar is unresponsive and truly does not care about residents or the community. I will be contacting corporate asap. Updated: I have contacted the leasing office multiple times and still have not received any correspondence back. For this Google review to be removed, I need my issues resolved.

  Honestly the outside is nice and have nice areas to play with your kids but the the inside of the apartments are not “ready for move in” we moved in may 2 and its been since that monday that we have been waiting on maintance for a fix for our washer conection because previous tenants left it broken and with some pipes hanging on there. Theres missing screws on our stair rails inside our townhome which is a safety issue. Still no fix Also our closet doors are all broke cant get them to stay in place. The ac it is hot on our first floor and decent on the 2nd. They told us to bring in the 48hr forms and was assured to get at least out washer conection fixed within that week. Now we are here still waiting for someone to come and get it fixed

  If they say management will be in contact, no they won't. I've been trying for weeks to get someone from management to talk to me, and each time they are either busy or not there, but apparently they'll give me a call. Haven't received one phone call from them.

  I have lived at La Vera for 2 1/2 years without a single problem, until they switched property management companies to Clearworth Residential. All I have to say is, steer far away from this complex. My entire building was without hot water for 14 days. The leasing office only communicated with myself and the other people in my building twice by mass email. Giving us false timelines and promising a fix that did not happen for 2 weeks. It was only until I called City of Dallas code compliance did anything happen and La Vera finally did something about it. I tried to reach out to Clearworth multiple times daily and no one was returning my calls. The entire time this ordeal was going on I received only 2 emails communicating what was going on. But best believe they make sure to send out plenty of communication when rent is due. On top of everything my family and building went through with no access to hot water (which is also illegal to not provide according to Texas Renters rights) they are refusing to compensate me and prorate my rent for the days we went without. Making me pay for utilities I never received. I would have never resigned a lease with this complex or anything run by Clearworth if I had known this its how they treat their residents. It is abundantly clear they are just money grabbing. Please think twice about applying to live here if you enjoy hot showers. I would not recommend La Vera to anyone searching for a place to live.
