I've lived at Eastline for over two years now, and I've seen a lot of changes—some for the better and some for the worse. Without a doubt, the biggest positive change has been the hiring of the new General Manager, Valen. She has made a noticeable difference in how the property is run. She actually answers calls and emails, is willing to meet with residents, and genuinely seems to care about resolving issues. The previous GM simply wasn't a good fit for this property.
She also hired Nicey at the front desk, who is always upbeat, welcoming, and helpful during business hours. On top of that, the property has retained Hala, who is by far the best property officer the complex has had. The staff you interact with every day are one of Eastline's biggest strengths, except for a few new hires that honestly seem to hate to be at work. Id sighest swapping some of the leasing managers and sub managers out with someone who would be a little more enjoyable for residents to deal with, someone who isnt rude, unhelpful and threwting to the individuals who spend around double the average rent in Dallas.
That said, one decision I do think management got wrong—and I'll be completely honest—is the removal of Vesha from the front desk. She was, without question, one of the best employees Eastline has ever had. She consistently went above and beyond for residents in ways that are incredibly rare to find. She was always willing to help with package issues, answered questions with a smile, and genuinely cared about the people who lived here.
What really set her apart was the personal touch. She remembered residents, gave out birthday cards and Christmas gifts, and if you were away on vacation, she would even check on your apartment, water plants, and make sure everything was okay—including checking on pets when needed. She made the building feel like a community rather than just another apartment complex.
If I could make one recommendation to ownership, it would be to bring Vesha back. Employees like her are exceptionally hard to find, and she was truly irreplaceable. Her level of care, professionalism, and dedication made a lasting impact on so many residents, and Eastline was a better place because of her.
The planned renovations are another huge plus. The addition of a new sports facility, golf simulator, sauna, and spa makes the already high rent feel much more justifiable. The pool is fantastic, the views are great, and while the cost of living here is definitely high, you generally get what you pay for.
That said, new ownership has also brought new rules. I'm personally not a fan of every decision the new ownership has made, and I think many of the frustrations residents have are outside the control of the on-site staff. Things like the garage being broken for months, occasional vehicle break-ins, and other property issues ultimately fall on ownership, not the employees who are doing their best every day.
The resident demographic can also be a bit of a challenge. There are a lot of college-age residents, and at times it feels more like a very expensive college dorm than a luxury apartment community. Depending on what you're looking for, that can either be a positive or a negative. Personally, I don't mind it because I'm under 25 and it creates a fun atmosphere, but I know it isn't for everyone. This is not a complex for people I ber the age of 35 to be completely honest, and it should remain a younger community.
Before the new management team came in, I would have rated Eastline around a 3 out of 5. Today, I'd give it a solid 4.6 out of 5—and I'll round that up to a 5 because the improvements have been that noticeable. Can't wait for the package room upgrade as well.
Overall, I genuinely enjoy living here. My biggest concern remains the rent increases under the new ownership, relestate baron Kushner, which I know many residents share. Even so, the on-site management team has made this community a much better place to live, and I'm excited to see how the upcoming renovations continue to improve the property.

Really enjoyed touring Eastline Residences with agent Erica J. She was very professional and knowledgeable about the property and real estate. It is definitely much more grandiose and appealing in person than on virtual tours. She took the time to show me every amenity which is an important interest at least for me. They also mentioned adding or renovating more amenity extras soon. Pros: Excellent state of the art interior design and architecture, heated rooftop pool with good view, lucid floor2ceiling windows, minimalistic design, University trail feet away, very large clubhouse for socializing or working, shared areas like gym ect. were clean and orderly, highway, SMU, and lots of entertainment nearby. Cons: noticed traditional water heaters instead of tankless, no shower door on some units, some units do not have operable windows or balconies, balconies very lovely but a little narrow, near Dart station in back where I noticed a little rough activity. Overall one of the best I’ve toured so far and was worth seeing in person. This review was submitted by a visiting non resident. Will post more photos soon. Referred by Lucas Hunt 🆔 DallasHighRiseDude
