I lived in Century Park for 3 and a half years. When I first moved in I didn't really have any complaints. The apartments weren't the best, but it wasn't bad either. However, around October 2024, I noticed there was a gap between my window and the wall and water would come into the apartment any time it rained. I spent over a year explaining to maintenance that there was a huge gap by the bedroom window. Although the gap was inside the apartment, the maintenance team would at first only do touch ups on the outside claiming that it would solve the problem (it didn't) and because of this, the gap eventually became a hole. The one time that maintenance attempted to take a look at the inside, they damaged their copy of the key to my apartment. When I gave the front office one of my copies that were given to me, the front office lost it and had my mailbox key replaced for absolutely no reason. Front desk staff was rude and condescending at all times since the incident. Since then, they lost my trust as I no longer felt safe inside my own apartment. God knows who ended up keeping my copy after front desk lost it. Had it fallen into the wrong hands, they would've easily accessed my apartment. In addition, the laundry rooms were always in deplorable conditions. During the entire time of my stay, there wasn't a single day when all machines worked. The machines were broken and vandalized, dirty, infested with bugs, and the laundromats hosted homeless people at night. The last time I tried to use the laundromats, there were TWO operating washing machines (keep in mind this is for the whole apartment complex which has over 20 buildings): one washing machine was full with bugs and the other one dispensed boiling hot water despite selecting the cold setting. In addition, the keypad to enter the apartments NEVER worked since I moved in back in Dec. 2022. Sure, residents had an access key, but it wasn't useful considering that the gates were open 90% of the time. The few times where it was actually properly closed, guests weren't able to use the keypad to come inside. Oh, and mail theft hit an all time high at some point during my stay. Amenities like the pools were often "closed" due to vandalism and yet people kept coming in despite it being closed, meaning there was no enforcement of the rules and procedures. Residents would defecate in the pool area and would steal the pool lights. All of this was confirmed by Century Park in emails to residents. Because of all of this, most of the time I felt unsafe and disregarded. I wish I was exaggerating, but the highlight of my year so far has been moving out of Century Park. I would only recommend Century Park if you ▪︎ Are on an extremely tight budget to pay rent, and ▪︎ Don't plan to do laundry here, and ▪︎ Don't have ANY valuable belongings since safety is clearly not important here, and ▪︎ You don't mind water coming inside your apartment when it rains In case Century Park reads this and tells me to email them: I had emailed you multiple times about the problems I listed and yet you decided to do NOTHING. This shouldn't be news to you. You somehow managed to make things worse when I thought y'all couldn't keep messing things up. You have already proven to me that you don't care about residents' wellbeing and you can't make me change my mind since that's the reason I decided to terminate my contract 6 months before it ended. If you really wanted to make things better or work things out, you would've fixed my window. Instead of wasting your time replying to reviews of people like me who already left because of the poor conditions of the apartments, maybe you should listen to your current residents and do something about their concerns. I really hope you get a new management team soon and renovate the buildings that are slowly falling apart.

I’ve lived in these apartments for a year, and it hasn’t been the best experience. The staff is friendly, and maintenance comes whenever something needs fixing, but the problem is the neighbors; they don’t follow the rules, they throw parties, and there are fights at night—I’ve seen the police show up on several occasions. They supposedly have parking enforcement, but I never see a tow truck checking if cars are registered, and there are cars there that likely don't belong to residents. I live on the second floor, and my upstairs neighbor is always making noise at all hours—morning, day, and night. There are people smoking marijuana and using drugs in the gardens; it seems like management still can't control the tenants. There is also dog poop everywhere, so you have to be careful when walking on the grass. Rent is cheap and the area is good, but personally, I never felt safe living there because of the fights—which sometimes involved firearms—and the fact that the security gate is always left open, allowing anyone to walk right in.

Renter Beware: BED BUGS, Excessive Charges, Poor Maintenance, and Serious Safety Concerns My experience at Century Park started out pretty well, but the move-out process completely changed how I felt about the place. After I moved out, I got charged for several things that felt excessive and unfair. I reached out to management in good faith, explained my concerns, and asked them to review the charges. They did respond, but I never got clear documentation backing up some of the charges before it eventually affected my credit. They neglected to communicate with me regarding coming up with something more realistic - just sent to collections. One of the most frustrating things was being held responsible for bed bug treatment. I never had any bed bug issues before living here, and I strongly disagree with the idea that the problem came from me. With the condition of the building and the visible gaps and cracks between units, I think other explanations should have been seriously considered before putting the blame on me. There were also ongoing maintenance issues during my time there. The community laundry room was often dirty (disgusting in my opinion) and the washers and dryers seemed to be out of service or just not well maintained. Plumbing problems in the apartment were another recurring headache. Probably the most concerning thing was that I was on the property during an active shooter incident while walking my dog. Obviously management can’t control every crime, but it definitely raised some serious concerns for me about safety and security in the community. Place was really going downhill by the time I was ready to move. What bothered me most was the overall feeling that residents are treated more like a source of fees than actual tenants. I tried to communicate professionally and work toward a fair resolution, but I left feeling unheard and unfairly blamed. If you’re thinking about renting here, I’d really recommend documenting everything, taking detailed move-in and move-out photos, saving all your communications, and carefully checking any charges you get. I wouldn’t live here again.
