the most terrible place i’ve ever lived in . please do not live here.
SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
I was very excited to move into Baypoint Apartments because of the beautiful bay views and the awesome amenities they offer. When I signed my lease I was offered a first floor apartment specifically with no carpet because I have two small dogs and wanted to avoid damaging it.
Unfortunately On move in day, June 12, I walked into an apartment with ROACHES and that had carpet in both bedrooms. The only options I was given were to move into the roach infested apartment or accept a second floor unit with carpet throughout it. While I was told the exterminator had treated the apartment that day and would continue coming over the following weeks I was not comfortable moving all of my belongings into an apartment with an active pest issue so I decided to request a refund.
Here we are nearly a month and a half later and I am still waiting for that refund. Even after I have provided my new mailing address numerous of times. When I went back to the office today they had to write it down for a fourth time. I was then told it “shouldn’t take another month” but I’m doubtful in their ability to do so.
I also want to mention that throughout this entire experience management was either unavailable or seemed uninterested in handling the situation directly. It often felt like the office staff were left to communicate and deal with these issues on management’s behalf. Which already made a frustrating experience even more upsetting.
I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE BECAUSE IT SEEMS I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS HAD THIS ISSUE IN THE PAST.

Upon moving in, our unit was not cleaned well. During the tour, I noticed the floor boards were dirty and chipped and made sure they were going to be cleaned and fixed. They were not. There were spots of paint left all on the mirror, countertops, and in the sinks, I had to scrub hard to get as much of it off. The ceiling fan was extremely dusty. The curtain rack in the shower was so rusty, every time I changed or cleaned the curtains it would get all over my hands.
Our towel rack broke shortly after we moved in, I put in an order twice about it and they finally came and fixed it about one month before we were moving out, leaving two holes in the wall and was told "they'll come and patch those up". Before it broke, it looked like it had just been super glued.
The smoke alarms started going off one random night and wouldn't stop, we called maintenance and was told to fully remove them from the ceiling. I called the front office the next day to put an order in, never got fixed.
Shortly before we moved out, the tile in shower started peeling and our laundry door handle broke (which was already loose when we moved in). I never called to put in an order about those because we were already close to moving out and they weren't going to come and fix it anyways.
Besides the unit, the gates are always broken, there's trash every where, people don't pick up after their dogs, and finding parking was hard some nights. Management was eh, some looked like they didn't want to be working there or happy to help, and most of the time no one answered my calls or emails.
Two months after we've moved out, we received a bill of $400 for "damages" we did NOT do. I called and asked for details about the charges and told them I put in multiple orders and only one thing got fixed (months later). I was told I'd get a call back and never did.
These apartments are not worth the price.

Chelsi in the front office is amazing and promptly helped me sort out the only small issue Ive had with the apartment in my year long lease! My Apartment was great!
Living here has been extremely frustrating and not worth the rent. There have been repeated issues with the property that never seem to improve.
Water is constantly shut off to buildings without proper notice, which makes daily living inconvenient and stressful. There also appears to be a roach problem that has not been effectively addressed despite ongoing complaints.
Package delivery is another major issue. The package room is unreliable, and residents often cannot retrieve their packages or experience delays and disorganization that make it unusable.
On top of that, building alarms go off in the middle of the night with no clear explanation or communication, disrupting sleep and raising concerns about safety and management responsiveness.
Overall, the property feels poorly managed and disorganized, with too many recurring problems and not enough accountability or improvement.
