  I hate to be the person to put a review but in this case I have to. I’ve had a lot of things promised at the time of the house being sold. Starting with I had to pay the down payment on a home i hadn’t seen. The layout of the home was shown to me over the phone due to them not having the house in the inventory. I Agreed to pay for the home. At the moment of them receiving the house I noticed that the house was not the same layout to the one from the phone. But i still decided to continue with purchasing of the home since I couldn’t get my refund back or anything. Then we had issues with CHARLINE she has a bad attitude and bad communication skills she is ready to scream over the phone without even trying to ear me out. She is very rude. I had the handy man fix some things from my house and i was away from my phone 3 min which he was outside but she decides to call 2 times and go off over the phone saying that I’m not responsible for not answering my phone that she won’t work with me no more due to not attending my phone or door. The was no need for the extra comments. This all happened in a mater of fact of 5 min. I’ve had bad experience with this company. I would not recommend buying from Clayton homes.

  My mom bought a new home last month from salesman Arturo when we did home walk thru once it was all set up we noticed several things were wrong from the foundation (under front door the wood on the blocks wasnt touching the frame where there is a sticker that says perimeter pier). The skirting wasn't even touching the ground in most areas because the pad wasn't wide enough when they put dirt down. The demo trailer Arturo gave us a walk thru on he states in video her trailer would look exactly the same besides different siding and it wont have a fireplace. So she ordered furniture etc to match the black design. Her trailer ended up coming with silver facets,door nobs, and shower was plain white and not black tile look with black trim. Which everything was put down that was wrong on the walk thru inspection form. We have tried for past month to get ahold of salesman to have this corrected but still no reply. Why but new home from this location if you will not get what you were promised to get!

  Bought a new home in June 2026 when we ordered the home salesman arturo said exactly how it would look and showed us a demo model ours would have different siding and no fireplace. Home gets delivered and set up when they did the move in walk thru we noted the faucets and door nobs were not black but silver. Shower is plain and not the black tile look we were promised either and had it wrote on the walk thru list. Also the foundation blocks under the door wasn't touching the trailer. Then the foundation dirt doesn't even touch the skirting which most has washed out from under the skirting after recent rain. We have tried several time to contact arturo and now almost a month later still no response. During our demo walk thru we recorded the demo trailer walk thru where he said our trailer would be exact same besides ours had vinyl siding and our wouldn't have fire place. If you pay 80k for a home it should be exactly what was discussed.
