  We worked with Scott on the recommendation of our realtor Patrick Hallett, who has had great experiences with him in the past. Long story short, Scott helped us secure a loan that matched our exact financial plans in an incredibly short amount of time. Some highlights: - I do my own financial planning, and this is my first mortgage. I needed to understand the process, requirements, and options inside and out, and Scott was able to explain everything I needed to know in a practical but exact way. He ran a couple scenarios for us but also helped educate me so I could spreadsheet out all of our options and choose the one that fit best. This alone is a reason to choose him above other agents. - Scott has systems in place to move efficiently and revise quickly. He's an independent business owner, and doesn't have the bureaucracy or channels to report to that often reduce the effectiveness of larger companies. As I learned more and interest rates changed, we adjusted our approach to get us the best deal possible. - We closed in record time. I counted it up today and couldn't believe it — 17 days from offer to close. Not business days, full days. We had found a house we wanted and wanted to make it a reality fast, and Scott worked with all of the parties necessary to made it happen.
