We closed on our Hillsboro at Pulte’s Corley Farms community about two weeks ago, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.
From the very beginning, Jeff Spencer in the sales office was fantastic to work with. His communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and he was always responsive, professional, and willing to answer our questions. What really stood out was his knowledge of the homes, construction process, and building materials. He was able to explain not just what was being done, but why it was being done, which gave us a lot of confidence throughout the build. We never felt like we were left wondering what was happening or where things stood.
Our Construction Manager, Chris Alexander, was absolutely unbelievable. Building a new home comes with a lot of moving parts, and inevitably there are things that come up that are outside the control of both the builder and the homeowner. Chris handled those situations exceptionally well. His knowledge of the construction process was impressive, and he consistently communicated with us, kept us informed, and worked to find solutions when challenges arose.
One of the things we appreciated most about Chris was his ability to “right the ship.” When something unexpected came up, he didn’t make excuses or leave us wondering what would happen next. He took ownership, communicated the situation clearly, and worked through the options to get things back on track. That level of communication and accountability made a huge difference in our experience.
We were also fortunate enough to have a couple of visits from Evan Schiller, the Senior Construction Manager, during the construction process. His involvement and willingness to take the time to visit the home and check on the progress was another example of how much the Pulte team cared about making sure things were being done properly. Having that additional level of oversight gave us even more confidence throughout the build.
Throughout the build, we felt like we had people on our side who genuinely cared about getting the home built correctly and making sure we were comfortable with the process. The attention to detail, willingness to answer questions, and transparency along the way really stood out.
We also appreciated how much pride the team takes in the finished product. Walking through the home during the various stages of construction and seeing everything come together was an exciting experience, and having knowledgeable people available to explain the process made it even better.
After closing, Garrett Munoz was also extremely thorough when walking us through the warranty process and coverage. He took the time to explain everything, answer our questions, and make sure we understood what to expect moving forward. That level of attention after the sale gave us additional confidence that we weren’t simply handed the keys and left on our own.
Buying and building a home is a major investment, and there will always be unexpected challenges when you're dealing with construction. What matters is how those challenges are handled, and that is where the Corley Farms team really impressed us.
A huge thank you to Jeff Spencer, Chris Alexander, Evan Schiller, Garrett Munoz, and the entire Pulte team at Corley Farms for helping make our home-building experience such a positive one. We’re excited to finally be in our Hillsboro and look forward to many great years here!
If you’re considering building at Corley Farms or another community with Pulte, we would definitely recommend taking the time to meet with the team and experience the process for yourself.
