We’ve had such a wonderful experience with the leasing team Kori and Kirby. From the very beginning, they were welcoming, helpful, and incredibly accommodating.
We visited and returned on a busy Saturday (next day) to take another look. Even with how busy Kori made the time to accommodate us and never made us feel rushed. They also answered all of our follow-up questions quickly and made the entire leasing process feel smooth, organized, and surprisingly easy.
We absolutely love the community itself. The floor plans are spacious and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of room (and closet space!) to really feel like a home, and the Hill Country views are beautiful. There were several floor plan options to choose from, which made it easier to find one that really worked for us.
Kori and Kirby made what can normally be a stressful process feel exciting and seamless. We’re so happy with our choice and really looking forward to making this our new home!
⭐️ DO NOT LET THE BEAUTIFUL TOUR FOOL YOU — OUR EXPERIENCE WAS A NIGHTMARE
If I could give zero stars, I would.
When we first toured BB Living at Sweetwater Crossing in Bee Cave, we were impressed. The homes were beautiful, the community looked clean, and the leasing staff made everything sound wonderful. We genuinely believed we were moving into a nice, peaceful community.
That could not have been further from the truth.
Once we actually moved in, the entire experience changed. The biggest disappointment was the lack of professionalism and accountability from management and maintenance. We experienced maintenance staff throwing parties late at night, playing loud music, riding around the community on golf carts after hours, drinking, and blasting music from speakers. This is not what anyone expects when paying a premium to live in a supposedly upscale community.
The neighbor situation became another nightmare. We experienced repeated problems with certain neighbors that made us feel targeted, uncomfortable, and unwelcome. We also felt that some of the treatment we received was based on our race/color. What made the situation even worse was feeling like management was choosing sides instead of objectively investigating what was actually happening.
Management’s handling of complaints was incredibly frustrating. Instead of properly investigating issues and holding everyone accountable, it often felt like they simply chose the easiest solution and moved on. We also observed employees leaving the office unattended for extended periods during business hours and making trips around the community, including going to residents’ homes on golf carts. Meanwhile, residents were left trying to get legitimate problems addressed.
And then there’s the quality of the homes.
For a community that looks so impressive from the outside, the construction and materials were extremely disappointing. Things started breaking down far sooner than they should have. The homes may look beautiful in pictures and during a tour, but once you actually live here, you start noticing how cheaply some things were constructed.
The pest situation was ridiculous. We dealt with ants, scorpions, and seemingly every bug that exists in Texas. For what residents are paying, you should not feel like you’re constantly battling pests inside your own home.
But one of our biggest frustrations was the money.
We were told one thing when we moved in and ended up paying significantly more—what felt like nearly triple what we were originally told once everything was added in. We were given explanations about fees and additional charges, but the difference between what we believed we were signing up for and what we ultimately paid was extremely frustrating and, in our opinion, misleading.
The bottom line: don’t be fooled by the tour.
The property photographs beautifully. The homes look impressive. The community looks luxurious. But our actual experience living there was completely different.
We expected professionalism, accountability, safety, reasonable living conditions, and transparent pricing. Instead, we experienced repeated disturbances, management issues, neighborhood conflicts, pest problems, questionable construction quality, and unexpected costs.
BB Living at Sweetwater Crossing was one of the worst community-living experiences we have ever had.
If you’re considering moving here, do yourself a favor and talk to current or former residents before signing anything. Ask for every fee in writing. Ask how complaints are actually handled. Visit the community at night—not just during a scheduled tour.
A beautiful house means absolutely nothing if you don’t feel comfortable, respected, or properly taken care of once you move in.
Our biggest regret was believing the tour represented what living there would actually be like.
