  The apartment itself is not bad, I have heard of people complaining about horrible apartments here but mine has been nice. What I can complain about is pretty much everything else. The clubhouse no one uses and has pretty much nothing in it. You might see 1 person in there watching tv. The pool table is not maintained. The gym is okay. The office is nice. The pool has not been open for months, so if you want an apartment with a working pool don't come here. The pool just opened last week and it is dirty and extremely cold. The heater does not work in the pool or the hot tub so its kind of just there to look nice but not actually be used. The security gates are ALWAYS left open so they are useless. I will be moving to an apartment with gates that actually work. The property is maintained very well, they have people picking up trash pretty much every morning. Pretty much everything looks nice here but is not truly functional. I have only had to put in 3 work orders but none of them have been fixed and it has been over a month now. Also, they promised us key fobs and I have yet to get mine, they just keep telling me next week. The apartment itself is nice, everything works for the most part and we always have working internet and cable. The water got shut off once this year for a couple hours but it was not bad, They are okay apartments and nothing major is wrong with them but I was expecting so much more when I saw the pictures online and I will be moving to a better complex next year. If you want a simple apartment with few extra things and has nothing major wrong then these would be good. If you want "luxury" living like they say then find real nice apartments elsewhere. Some of the one star horrible reviews are probably made up by someone that got mad and the 5 star reviews are for sure people that work here. A appropriate rating is 2-3 stars for The Ball Park West.

  I used o give them 4 stars. You know they are really terrible when I changed it to a 1 star! After moving in, they made me transfer. I asked which room I was transferring to. Each time I asked, they gave me a different room. And at the end, they took me to a completely different room to see. And when I transferred, they made me transfer to a DIFFERENT room. It was the worst apartment ever. There was trash everywhere, people left their stuffs for years and it smelled so bad. Not a single place was clean. I asked the employees if the people lived there smoked. Without hesitance, they said no. But guess what! They do smoke. The appliances started to break down every week and it took them 3 weeks to fix anything. The worst thing is that they promised to give me $200 upon agreeing to transfer. They said I could pick the gift card when I moved in. Then I asked for it and they said it would be available in November. Now it's November, they said that they changed the manager so they cannot give me $200. This happened to me last year as well. This place is full of scams!!!!!! They even have their staffs writing reviews...
