This apartment complex and its staff are the worse I have ever encountered. Literally no hot water since we picked up the keys a week ago and the ignorant front staff keeps kicking the problem down the road and will not help. We can't even get a response from the maintenance staff or management. Stay away from this place.

⭐ 1/5 Stars I’m giving Polo Club Apartments one star, and it really comes down to one thing: the water. I’ve lived here for four years, so this isn’t coming from someone who just moved in and had one bad experience. I’ve been here long enough to see different management, different issues, and different phases of this property. But recently, the constant water shutoffs have become so frustrating that I genuinely don’t know how I could recommend this place to someone else. Imagine being at work all day. You’re tired. You’re ready to come home, take a shower, clean your apartment, cook, use the bathroom, and just exist comfortably in the place you pay to live in. Then you get home and there’s no water. Again. They say someone is working on it. Another pipe broke. Another plumbing issue happened. And I understand that things break. Apartments have maintenance problems. That’s normal. But how many times does something have to happen before it stops being an inconvenience and starts becoming part of what it means to live here? Because having to go to Walmart at 2 a.m. just to use the bathroom is not normal. Having to go to a gym because you can’t shower in your own home is not normal. Having to wonder whether you’re going to have running water when you get home is not normal. And what really bothers me is thinking about families here with children. Adults can figure something out. We can drive somewhere, go to a gym, buy water, make adjustments. But kids shouldn’t grow up thinking taking a bird bath every other time there’s another plumbing issue is just a normal part of apartment living. Parents shouldn’t have to constantly improvise basic things like bathing their children, washing dishes, or using the restroom because the water is off again. The frustrating part is that the current management is actually great. That’s what makes this review difficult. Compared to previous management, they seem like they genuinely care. They listen. They try to solve problems. They actually make an effort to help residents, and in my opinion, they are probably Polo Club’s biggest saving grace right now. I don’t think the water issue is necessarily their fault. But at the same time, residents don’t experience the explanation. We experience the result. No water is still no water. And I sometimes wonder, if the people responsible for the larger plumbing problems had to deal with this in their own homes, coming home from work and not being able to shower, waking up and not being able to use the bathroom, having kids who need baths, would this still feel like something that could just keep happening? Because after enough times, it really does start affecting your peace. That’s probably the biggest thing I’ve learned from living here. Sometimes it isn’t the huge dramatic problems that make you want to leave somewhere. Sometimes it’s one basic thing happening over and over and over again until you realize how much energy you’re spending working around something that should simply work. Water should simply work. If Polo Club could magically wave a wand and permanently fix one thing, I would choose the plumbing without hesitation. If the constant shutoffs disappeared, my opinion of this place would probably change completely. With the management they have now, I could honestly see myself recommending it. But right now? If you have the opportunity to find another apartment around here where constant water shutoffs aren’t an issue, I would probably tell you to choose that one. Not because Polo Club is terrible. Not because the current management doesn’t care. But because sometimes peace is worth more than constantly having to ask yourself: “Do I have water today?” And wherever I move next, that is definitely going to be one of the questions I ask before signing another lease.

I now understand why the apartments are cheap I moved in August 1st moved in and saw roaches it’s now been 2 weeks of me trying to get someone to come and spray and still no one has. The amount of things that are broken I put in all the tickets when I moved in and still nothing has been done except they un-clogged my garbage disposal but the drawers in the kitchen are still unusable. My washer connection is leaking so I can’t connect my washer and again still no one has done anything. The apartment itself is a cute layout but if you need maintenance to come it dosent seem like they will. I typically don’t leave reviews but i’ve reached out so many times to get things fixed I think people should be aware.

I live in Liberty Hill and drive to Bertram for their burger and fries, then take a pound of brisket to go.
