  I truly love leasing here at these apartments!!! The property manager Nina is amazing! She is fast with getting the services you need taking care of. She is friendly and she truly cares about her tenants.

  As a licensed Texas Realtor who works with renters and relocation clients, I will never recommend Iron Horse Flats to anyone. Their towing practices are predatory and clearly designed to put more money into their pockets, not protect residents. There is no obvious signage about guest parking or permits where I parked, yet my car was towed and hit with a $300+ bill. When I called the front office to ask what happened, they were extremely unhelpful, refused to take any responsibility for the lack of clear communication, and repeatedly tried to blame my boyfriend, a current resident, instead of answering basic questions. If this is how they treat a visitor on day one, I can only imagine how they handle real problems once you live there. I strongly advise any prospective tenant to look elsewhere.

  I was visiting my boyfriend at Iron Horse Flats and my car was towed with a $300+ fee, even though there was **no clear signage** anywhere near the spot I parked in. The only “warning” is tiny fine print off to the side of the gate that is impossible to see when you’re driving in, especially at night. I’ve parked there multiple times before with no issue, and no one in the office or my boyfriend was ever told there was a separate parking permit requirement for guests. When I called the office, they basically blamed my boyfriend for not “telling me the rules” instead of taking responsibility for their own lack of visible signage and predatory towing setup. As a licensed real estate agent in Austin who works with renters all the time, I would never send a client here. If you’re considering moving in, understand that your guests’ cars are essentially a revenue stream for their towing company.

  Ironhorse Flats rocks!! The staff especially Nina and Martha go above and beyond with everything and we have had so much support upon moving in which has been so helpful and awesome. Also huge shoutout to Raciel and Vento the dream team! They have been so attentive to maintenance requests, and even installed a whole new dishwasher when ours was having some trouble. What really stood out to me is that they even placed/stacked the dishes from the old one on the side which was so nice. Overall I would say if you’re considering moving here do it!!
