I recently moved into this community about five weeks ago, and while the apartment itself is nice, my experience with maintenance has been extremely disappointing.
Shortly after moving in, I submitted a maintenance request through the resident portal for several issues, including replacing the rusted overflow covers in all of my bathroom sinks and repairing my master bathroom sink, which is leaking underneath and has visible mold.
Since then, I have called the leasing office multiple times and have also gone in person to follow up. Each time, I have been told that they are “waiting on the maintenance team” or that someone would get back to me. I was even promised a callback that never happened. During my most recent visit, I felt my concerns were dismissed, and I still wasn’t given any timeline or meaningful update.
The most concerning issue is the mold under the sink. Mold is a potential health hazard, and I don’t understand why a maintenance request involving mold has gone unresolved. At this point, no one has contacted me, no one has inspected the issue, and no repairs have been made.
I understand that maintenance requests can take time, but communication and follow-through are just as important. As a new resident, I expected these issues to be addressed promptly, especially those involving leaks and mold. I hope management takes maintenance requests more seriously and improves communication with residents.
I had a very disappointing experience with this property.
After paying the $150 application fee, I was told by the leasing agent, Lawrence, that I would be moving in on August 1st. Based on that information, I relocated to Texas and stopped by the property to see it in person before my move-in date.
To my surprise, I was informed that my application had been pulled for an unknown reason. No one could explain why. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, the staff member in the office was dismissive and unhelpful. I was essentially told to reapply, pay again, and “cross my fingers”, even though I was also told they didn’t have any units available.
This was an incredibly frustrating experience, especially after relying on the information provided by their leasing office and relocating based on those assurances. Better communication, transparency, and customer service would have prevented this situation.
I hope management looks into how this was handled so future applicants don’t experience the same thing.
This place is so beautiful! The views and trails are lovely and the leasing office is so nice. The model apartment they show is so cute and homey! Lawrence was the leasing agent that helped us out today, and he was so awesome! He answered all our questions and has a very kind demeanor. Overall I was so impressed by the complex and staff. Everyone was amazing!

A few weeks ago, I applied for an apartment at this property. I met all the requested requirements—they even asked me to pay a deposit to reserve the unit—yet two weeks have passed, and the manager, James Pershing, still hasn't made a decision regarding my application. I have been diligent in complying with all their requests, but they haven't returned my deposit money. I consider this a sign of disrespect and a complete waste of time for people who are actively looking for a place to live. What kind of business is this, where they treat their customers poorly and offer no assistance in resolving issues?
