We’ve tried a number of management companies and Associa Hill Country is the most responsive. A special thank you to Ilse Martinez for always responding promptly and helping keep us on track.

my dealings with associa directly have been limited. but having worked somewhat extensively with their Community Association Manager, Miss Holly Skeen, for almost five years...
if my experience working with her is at all a reflection of the general values that associa embodies, my 5-star rating is definitely a reflection of that.
I would chew my own arm off before having a property under their management again. Hard to get in contact with. Slow response time. And so many unspecified fees when I sold the house it was dizzying. $400 to provide the HOA covenant docs to the buyers and not even hand-copied onto gold leaf.
*Update* A lot of new reviews that are suspiciously positive. Check the Yelp feedback. Suddenly they're adding "handling fees" and late fees to our bills. It's 2018, there is no reason to charge fees for online payments. No one from corporate actually "reached out to me" - shocking, I know.
I'm really glad that our HOA was set-up such that late fees are not imposed. I don't have to deal with billing errors. I do have to contend with Associa/Alliance's inability to manage a property. They are the lapdog of the developers, basically running interference with the homeowners. Meanwhile we've got landscapers destroying trees, sprinkler systems that run during a rainstorm, a pool with no underwater lighting, and another pool we can't seem to keep open 2 days in a row. The nicest thing I could say about our representative is that she's frequently unprofessional. We were told the "pool maintenance company" wants $2,000 to replace $30 bulbs ($18,000 to replace them with $100 LED bulbs). Who does our pool maintenance - the DOD? Why isn't light bulb replacement already covered in the pool maintenance contract? Our lifeguard company OFFERED to do it, but were told that there was a contractual conflict. Clearly A lie if the job was being bid out. *Edit* I didn't even get the cursory response from the higher ups. Money is being mismanaged here. No doubt in my mind. 3 words: Independent. Outside. Audit.
