  First impressions are important to prospective future tenants. While I’m not a tenant , the following occurrence helped make my decision to not consider this place. I entered the office to obtain rental information. There were 3 other people present and a women behind the counter. A tenant entered asking about a parking spot assignment. The employee told him she was by herself and would not be able to take care of the request at that time. The tenant then stated he requested it 3 days ago. The employee told the tenant that she informed him the other day she would contact him when she had the parking info. The tenant replied back to the employee that she is always by herself and it was ridiculous to have to wait this long. He was not happy. I left, as this is a very negative experience for prospective tenants.

  Imagine being 73 years old, and you have to find a park every time you come home because Dominion removed the assigned parking, when they took over a few months ago. Imagine your car vandalised, notes on your windshield, or keyed. Imagine moving into this 55 and up Community, and kids and grandkids live here with their granny. It's not right, Management is not resolving the issues that directly affect residents peace and well-being, A place can have the 'appearence' of looking nice, but inside, there are multiple issues from parking to plumbing that affect your quality of life here.Most seniors got thrown in a change of Management here without any notice. In that transition, the Residents safety and well being should be a a key goal, not, (you should be glad you a got a nice looking place). As if we should settle for sub-standard amenities, that do not serve us. We pay for these things to work effectively, also people should not be able to have their outside family members and grandkids living with them close to a year now. They do not address people violating the conditions of their lease, and these outside young people jeopardize the peace and safety of the entire Community. It is not far to residents who moved here to enjoy that peace, and do follow the rules. A successful senior community will need a very skilled management team with keen people skills, as well as problem solving, and be critical thinking enough resolve day to day issues. I am hoping Dominion Corporate will do what's needed to foster a good community for All involved.
