  Updating my review to 1 Star. THESE ARE NOT LUXURY APARTMENTS. The leasing office staff tried to move mountains and oceans to try to help me in this situation. I rate them 5 stars! They are earth angels. My poor 1 Star rating is for the powers that controls the Knox Allen station apartment complex. My AC went out with in a few months of renting. The complex does NOT consider lack of AC in a heat weather advisory an emergency. It's in the lease. A few months later, a fire sprinkler system test went off in my bedroom closet destroying all of my important documents and sentimental valuables. The entire master bedroom carpet and wood floor in bathroom were drenched. They cut a extremely large hole in my bedroom closet ceiling leading to the outside. It was 30°outside. Fiberglass was spread to 50% of my clothes and spread through the apartment due to Maintenance placing 1 blower directed in my closet. My 6 year old and I were suffering from fiberglass inhalation symptoms..I am a medical personnel and was diagnosed at the hospital. I asked to move to a different apartment because fiberglass inhalation and the apartment stinks because of old water and mold. Knox Allen station did not want to move me because the entire apartment did not flood. They only replaced the carpet padding and carpet of a 1/4 of the bedroom. I asked maybe 3-4 times to switch apartments. FINALLY the front office staff gave me a number to contact "corporate" to see if I could convince them to let me have a new apartment. Unfortunately, the only way I could get into a NEW apartment was to sign a 12 month lease. I had just paid rent on the last apartment. Knox Allen refused to roll over the rent just paid from the old apartment to the new one. The new apartment is INFESTED with roaches, toilets didn't work, it was dirty upon move in, hot water heater didn't work, faucets were broken, toilet seats were broken, blinds were broken, walls are THIN. A few months later.. The AC went out in the NEW apartment. It was out for over a week. There was a major lack of communication between maintenance and the front office staff. It was as if the apartments were retaliating against me for demanding a new apartment. Also there's is very little parking available. If you have visitors who park on the STREET know Allen will put a boot on their car. There are actual luxury apartments in the area with better school districts, better quality with working appliances, and cost less. I would NEVER recommend a loved one to live here.
