  I had an outstanding experience working with Ryan Schmid at Neighborhood Loans. From start to finish, everything was smooth, easy, and stress-free. Ryan is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain every step of the process in detail, making sure I fully understood all of my options. What really stood out was how informative and thorough he was - he didn’t just present options, he broke each one down so I could confidently make the best decision. That level of care and professionalism made a huge difference. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with the entire experience. Ryan went above and beyond, and I truly couldn’t have asked for anything better. I’m very appreciative of all his help and will absolutely be using Neighborhood Loans again in the future. Highly recommend!

  Ryan and his team were absolutely incredible from start to finish. As a first-time homebuyer, I went into the process a little nervous—especially doing it on my own—but they made everything feel seamless and completely manageable. From day one, they emphasized honesty and transparency, and they truly delivered on that. As long as I was upfront about my situation and provided the right details, they handled everything and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks. There were zero surprises—no hidden fees, no last-minute stress. They walked me through my closing costs line by line, explained everything clearly, and always kept me ahead of what was coming next. What really stood out to me was their communication. Ryan was always available for my (very random) calls at all hours and never made me feel like a burden. Anytime I had a question or needed guidance, they were on it immediately. Their network of referrals also made the entire moving process so much easier, which I didn’t even realize I’d need going into this. I also want to highlight something that might not be for everyone—but was exactly what I needed: they are blunt and honest. And in a process as big and important as buying a home, that’s invaluable. They tell you exactly what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear, and they back it up with results. I respected that a lot. Overall, I felt fully taken care of the entire time. I never felt confused, overwhelmed, or stressed—which says everything. I would 100% recommend Ryan and his team to anyone looking for a lender who is responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely has your back.

  Before ryan we had a really difficult time getting around our first home purchase. We were strong along for months and were in a really terrible place, but our amazing realtor Austin Hawkins said "Ryan is my guy, he's the best, please give home a shot." Long story short, Ryan made it happen in under a month, and got us closed on our first house. Ryan is really the best, he even sent me a personal birthday card! Thanks again Ryan and sorry for the super late review!!

  I cannot speak highly enough about Ryan with Neighborhood Loans. In the bumpy process of steps when buying a home, Ryan made the lending process an absolute breeze. At one point, unforeseen circumstances popped up and almost stopped us from being able to buy our dream home but Ryan was able to work out an end game that allowed us to continue forward and we couldn’t be more thankful. We gave him all the information he requested and he was able to get us taken care of. He was very willing to do whatever he needed to, to get the job done. Thank you! Great experience!!
