I normally do not leave reviews, but due to the seriousness of this situation, I feel it is important to share my experience with Anthem at Creekside.
In April 2025, I signed a lease as the primary leaseholder. At that time, I was in a relationship, and the lease qualification was based mainly on my income as a supervisor. Unfortunately, the relationship ended shortly after, and I only lived at the apartment for about one month.
I spoke directly with Assistant Manager Jessica White about my situation and explained that while I could not afford to break the lease at that moment, I wanted my name removed once the lease expired. I was told to stay in communication, and I never received any phone call, email, or written notice regarding any renewal options.
On March 23, I personally sent an email clearly stating that I was NOT interested in renewing the lease and wanted to be removed when the lease ended. The response I received was simply: “Thanks for letting us know.”
Later, I spoke with Community Manager Amy Stokes, who told me the renewal had already been completed on March 7. However, I was never contacted beforehand regarding a renewal process or asked for authorization.
I then discovered that the lease had been renewed using a falsified signature under my name. I want to make this absolutely clear: THAT IS NOT MY SIGNATURE. I never signed any renewal agreement, nor did I authorize anyone to sign on my behalf.
I also have proof comparing my real signature with the false signature used on the renewal document.
When I brought these concerns to management, I was still told that my only option was to find another qualified person to take over the apartment in order to remove my name. This is not simply about breaking a lease — this involves an unauthorized renewal and forged signature connected to my identity.
I sincerely hope Anthem at Creekside administration takes this matter seriously and resolves the situation properly.
