I would like to recognize Shelly Wheeler for the outstanding job she has done as the new manager at The Percy Apartments. From her very first day, Shelly took the time to listen to my concerns and quickly resolved issues that had been left unresolved for over three weeks under the previous management. She was professional, respectful, compassionate, and proactive throughout the entire process. It is truly refreshing to work with a manager who genuinely cares about the residents and follows through on her commitments. Thanks to her dedication and leadership, my concerns were addressed promptly, and I finally feel heard and valued as a resident. Thank you, Shelly, for your exceptional customer service and commitment to making The Percy Apartments a better place to live. Your professionalism and willingness to help have made a significant difference. I truly appreciate everything you have done and wish you continued success in your new role.

The apartment themselves aren't bad, but management has been terrible since the very beginning. It takes numerous phone calls & emails to get anything resolved. Good luck on any maintenance requests they may get to them.... NEVER!

It’s disheartening to see a negative review aimed at Tanya, especially considering her exemplary track record at the Percy Apartments. While every individual is entitled to their opinion, it’s important to recognize that Tanya has consistently received praise from the vast majority of residents—over 85% who appreciate her dedication and exceptional service. Tanya’s character and commitment to her residents speak volumes. She goes above and beyond to ensure a positive living experience, addressing concerns promptly and fostering a sense of community. Her professionalism and genuine care for residents have made a significant impact, and those who have interacted with her know her true value. It's crucial to remember that one negative review does not define her character or the quality of service she provides. Tanya remains a respected and beloved figure among her community, and her contributions to the Percy Apartments are truly commendable. Thank you, Tanya, for all that you do! 🌟

We moved to The Percy in November 2024 and were initially very happy. The apartment was brand new, clean, and we were among the first residents in our unit. At first, everything felt modern and well-maintained. However, about a month after moving in, things began to decline significantly. Staff turnover in the leasing office made communication increasingly difficult, and responses to maintenance and resident concerns became slow or inconsistent. The most serious issue during our time here involved repeated vehicle break-ins on the property. When we moved in, the gated entry system was not functioning and remained open 24/7 for an extended period. During this time, multiple break-ins occurred in the parking lot, including several incidents that were later reported in the news. Residents repeatedly raised concerns about safety while the gate remained unsecured, but the issue took a long time to be resolved. Even after repairs, debris from broken car windows remained in the parking lot for an extended period. We also had a deeply concerning experience involving security. A man who lived in the unit beneath us was employed as the property’s security guard. On one occasion, around 3:00 a.m., he aggressively pounded on our door while on duty, accusing us of making noise we were not making. He was visibly agitated, yelled at us, and placed his hand on his firearm while stating, “Don’t worry, you’ll be evicted soon anyway.” This was the first and only complaint we ever received. We reported this incident to management because it felt threatening and highly unprofessional, especially coming from someone responsible for resident safety. Despite this, he remained employed for months afterward, and we never observed consistent patrol presence during his assigned overnight hours. In fact, that very night, he knocked on our door another round of car break-ins occurred. We also had a concerning experience involving someone falsely presenting themselves as property security. On one occasion, a woman came to our door claiming to be the property’s security officer in response to a noise complaint. However, after speaking with the leasing office, we were informed that she was not employed by the property. This raised serious concerns about oversight and security protocols within the community. After the gate system was repaired, residents were given access stickers and entry codes. However, our household continued to experience issues with the system, including a roommate’s code never working despite multiple attempts to reset it with the leasing office. The issue was never resolved, and we were repeatedly given unhelpful explanations rather than a fix. We also experienced ongoing frustration with communication from management. Messages often went unanswered for days, and follow-up on reported issues was inconsistent. More recently, a minor issue involving balcony plant watering and slight water runoff escalated into a management intervention that felt dismissive and unhelpful, with little effort made to assess the situation in person or explore reasonable compromises. Overall, while the apartments themselves are modern and visually appealing, our experience has been seriously impacted by repeated security concerns, poor communication, and a lack of effective management response—particularly regarding the vehicle break-ins and the conduct of on-site security.

This second review is solely about Tanya and not the rest of the staff. Again, she is incompetent and cannot hold a regular conversation without completely misunderstanding what someone is saying and giving false information in return based on what she incorrectly understood. She did this to me again today and then told Maeli something to the effect of ‘Can you come help, she is going to/likes to file on me’. Which is correct because when Maeli came to help and gave me proper advice, it was nothing like what Tanya said. I am very glad I will not have to contact her anymore.
