  I moved into Stewart’s ferry in October 2025 and have had nothing but positive reviews. Maintenance is fairly quick, office staff is accommodating and very kind, the pools are beyond immaculate and the apartment is well put together. If it was all that together it would be five stars. My only negative review is a huge one, the ROACHES. these aren’t little roaches they’re absolutely massive and disgusting. I’ve had pest control come spray three times already and zero difference. I’m still finding them day and night in my living room and kitchen. I’ve had the door frame replaced and the dryer vent and they’re still getting in. I’m at a loss of what to do. I barely cook because the thought of them crawling in my kitchen every night is nauseating. I’m too embarrassed to have friends and family come visit in case they see them. I can’t have my own mother visit because she has a horrific phobia of roaches (raised in Brooklyn, cant blame her). I wish they would find a decent pest control company. As I know most complexes find the cheapest ones they can. That alone is the reason I won’t renew. It’s such a shame because pests aside this is a breathtaking complex who very obviously prides themselves in the upkeep of their apartments and landscaping and cares for their tenants as many of my neighbors have lived here for years.

  I am sharing my experience to alert others about the move-out process here. After 2 years of residency and transferring to another unit, I was hit with a final bill exceeding $1,800. What concerns me most is that the management’s own inspection report explicitly noted structural settling cracks in several rooms, marking them as 'no fault of the resident.' It makes me wonder if these structural issues are being properly addressed for safety or if they are simply being passed over while residents are charged heavily for minor things. Charging for a full carpet replacement due to one small spot, after 2 years of residency, feels very unfair given these other underlying issues. I was also charged high fees for basic cleaning, like the bathtub. I hope management starts treating loyal residents more fairly. I advise everyone to take detailed photos and ask for the age of the carpet before moving in."
