  My name is Barbara, I lived there a few years ago and NOT one time did I have any problems from management, nor my apartment. The manager was awesome she was always there for me when ever I needed to speak with her I would definitely recommend Candlewood Apts to anyone that’s looking for a quite place to live. As I was reading these reviews I immediately thought, this was the BEST place I’ve live, it was CLEAN, QUITE and GREAT management. I would definitely come back first choice.   Pros: Decent view. Good location. Cons: Big, juicy roaches. Cheap Fixes. Poor laundry facilities. Out of touch management. Obnoxiously loud neighbors. Small kitchen. $1,000 a month (and climbing). Update: So someone in management responded to this years after I left this review (see below). And let me just say their social unawareness has proven my point. An apology would have been considerate, but instead this person just discredits my experience. Hello!? I’m reviewing you, you don’t just get to write me off as out of date. So let me respond as to why I’m pretty sure they’re just trying to save face and recover from the 2.7 stars (updated my review to 1 star now). A) The pictures I just looked are the same from when we left in 2020. B) Even if they did have a good upgrade, the lack of soundproofing is the worst and I doubt they gutted all the buildings and added decent soundproofing. C) Here’s another story: We found another place to stay (because the crime had gotten so bad), and I asked the higher ups if I could rework my lease and pay the difference. They said no. They didn’t care about us and this response discrediting my experience is yet another point in my case. Sounds like people should still stay away. Thank you!
