BUYER BEWARE:
We never imagined that building and buying a brand-new Pulte home would turn into such a stressful and disappointing experience.
Throughout the construction process we encountered several issues that we felt weren't consistent with what were expecting from a quality new home build. However, the most alarming was multiple instances of water entering the basement, which led to repeated repairs and remediation. Instead of feeling more confident with each repair, each new issue made us question the overall quality of the home and the attention given to its construction.
What has been most disappointing is not just the problems themselves, but how they were handled. We raised our concerns well before closing, however we felt our concerns were minimized. Pulte simply expected us to move forward with purchasing a home we no longer trust.
We have reached the point where we simply cannot move forward with this purchase. Even so, Pulte is forcing us to close or if we don't, they are going to keep our $30,000 earnest money deposit.
A new construction home should provide confidence and peace of mind. Instead, this experience has left us with doubt, frustration, and a complete loss of trust.
Stay away!
