  I am a neighbor of David’s and let me just say that I would not believe anything he writes. I was outside yesterday, walking my dog and heard the conversation between him and management. Management was simply telling them that his brother could no longer be on property and they know why. People like him and his family love to play victim and then spread lies and write bad reviews that is unnecessary. Management and Albion staff have been nothing but nice and very accommodating. Maintenance complete work orders that I have submitted in less than 24 hours and a lot of times completed within a few hours. Maintenance has been nothing but nice and respectful to me and my family when they enter the apartment. I have recommended a few friends, which they live here as well, and none of us have ever had any issues.

  I’ve lived here for a few years now and have had nothing but good experiences. The staff is absolutely awesome and always helpful! It’s been great enough that I’ve referred family and friends who now live here as well.

  Our experience living here has been extremely disappointing, and we are relieved to finally be leaving at the end of our lease. Throughout our time here, management has handled concerns in an unprofessional and inconsistent manner. One major concern is the lack of functioning security cameras throughout the property. Residents have been informed that cameras are “too expensive” to maintain, yet there are multiple cameras monitoring each dumpster area. This creates a frustrating lack of security for tenants. Additionally, management appears to approve tenants who may not meet financial requirements by frequently offering payment plans, which has contributed to ongoing issues within the community. Despite the property advertising a non-smoking policy, repeated complaints regarding a neighboring tenant smoking marijuana were never properly addressed or the assistant manager and maintenance men smoking constantly. Communication and professionalism from management have also been disappointing. The property manager has openly stated that she is “not here to make friends,” yet seems to treat certain residents far more favorably than others, creating an atmosphere of inconsistency and favoritism. There was also an issue regarding my emotional support animal, where management initially attempted to deny accommodation despite legal protections. The matter was only resolved after I indicated I was prepared to pursue legal action. You would think it would be mostly college students but it is not. It’s nice because it is right next to campus but you can find better that is not that far away at all. Overall, this has been a highly negative experience. I would strongly encourage prospective tenants to thoroughly research this property before signing a lease.

  I was a resident there for a good 2 years. I would definitely NOT recommend it. Besides the problems I had, they are NOT honest people. At the end when I moved out of the apartment, they took an EXTRA month's rent. I let them know and they said they would be refunding it by the next month. It is over 2 months later and they still have not sent the money back and do not respond to my calls except saying someone will return my call and they never do. I would HIGHLY recommend not to rent at Albion. Very dishonest people that seem to want to take what is not theirs.
