  I visited Grand Island Apartments back in February 2025 during a job interview in Memphis. At the time, I toured several housing communities, especially around the Mud Island / Harbor town area, which I found to be one of the most beautiful and peaceful neighborhoods in the city. After comparing different complexes, Grand Island Apartments clearly stood out to me. The apartments felt newer, more spacious, and many of them offered stunning views that truly impressed me. Out of all the places I saw, Grand Island best matched what I was looking for in terms of comfort, location, and style. Throughout the entire leasing process—from my initial inquiry to finally moving in—Alan from the leasing team was absolutely outstanding. I genuinely want to thank him. He was incredibly professional, prompt in replying to emails, and very accommodating, even when I was abroad trying to coordinate my move. We also spoke over the phone multiple times, and each interaction made me feel more confident and at ease about my decision to relocate here. Now that I’ve been living here for almost a month, I can say I’m very satisfied with my choice. The building has continued to meet my expectations, and I hope things stay just as great moving forward. I may return with an updated review in the future, but for now, I wanted to share my positive experience—especially thanks to Alan’s help and the overall quality of the apartments and the area.

  I had to rate otherwise I would not rate them at all! I lived at this apartment for 6 months and wanted to share what I saw and experienced there! If you want to live in mud Island go anywhere but Grand Island! Two rubbery in two weeks! Unfortunately, Hijacked a car and rubbed a neighbour!I was gone when this happened, but other neighbours told me what happened! Be very careful if you want to live there! You will be on your own! There is not security or anything at all! Gates are broken most of the time! I don’t think anyone wants to live somewhere that is not safe and secure! Most of residents are leaving this property! Major issues with this property! First: the highway is right there, it’s hammering 24/7. You can not do anything in your patios or balcony because it’s so noisy! 18 wheelers are right above you 24/7! Second: the apartment is so dirty, there is nobody to do anything about it. Very poor management! Third: Leasing office is not there to help you at all! I lived there for 6 months, saw at least 4 different people! There is nobody there to be responsible and accountable! If you want to live in mud island, go anywhere but Grand Island! Dishonest and disrespectful! 4th: there is not maintenance at this property to help you! You will be on your own! Basically, if you just pay your rent, they will be good to go! I live there for 6 months and had issues with my AC for 6 months! I reached out even to the regional manager, but nothing changed! They are not committed to what they supposed to do at all! You pay your rent and deserve to live somewhere that treat you with respect and dignity! You do not get any services at this property at all!
