  Wish the economy was better so I could get out of here. A couple of years ago, I had maintenance men who damaged some of my bedroom furniture moving it. When I reached out and sent pictures, there was no response from the office. Recently, when the fire alarms were being tested, some dude barged into my bedroom when I was half dressed despite me telling him to wait and he laughed about it. I reported it to the head office in person where it was not taken seriously nor were any of emails returned. Then there is the noise. Everyday for what feels like months, there has been some guy running around with a leaf blower for hours at a time. Once he wraps up, the cars with the blaring music and peeling out of the parking lots happening all night every night. I used to see kids outside playing, but I don't anymore. It used to be pretty peaceful during the day (even if we were getting our cars broken into at night). I've lived here for over four years and it's clear they do not choose their features for longevity. The flooring, cabinets, and lighting fixtures are all cheap and almost impossible to actually keep clean. You can see where they just slap a coat of pain over things to "fix" them. It's really hard to take pride in your home when you're paying a crap ton of rent and given features that would be better off in the dumpster.

  I was recommended this apartment complex by one of my close friends before my move to Knoxville. They are very hard to get in touch with, most always goes to voicemail. After days of trying to reach them, one of the ladies in the office picked up. I was asking her about specials, availability, and overall the property itself. She had ZERO clue any of the questions I was asking and kept putting me on hold but coming back with very little information. She ended up getting frustrated with me after my inquiries so I just hung up. She was very unprofessional and quickly agitated over simple questions I thought were reasonable to ask considering I wanted to move to this complex. Maybe she is better in person but her customer service skills make anyone become turned away from wanting to move in.

  I have lived at Amberleigh Bluff for over a year in two different apartments. The best features are the front office and management staff (very friendly, efficient and attentive to resident's needs), the safety and security (it's a gated community), the responsive maintenance team (most maintenance requests are handled within 24 hours) and the clean and well maintained common areas. If I had to pick one area for improvement, it would be enhancing the sound insulation of the walls and flooring - this would help reduce noise from neighboring apartments (and also from the outside). But overall, it's generally been a positive and pleasant experience living here.
