Jake was great! He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. I decided to stop on a whim one day to look around. We are incredibly grateful for the professionalism and sense of urgency shown toward our family during a very difficult time. After our home was condemned due to storm damage, Jake Riley and his team at Clayton Homes of Hixson, and the team at Union Home Mortgage collaborated seamlessly to guide us through the home-buying process.
A huge factor in our move-in speed was finding a lot model we loved that was available for immediate sale. One of our favorite features is the brick foundation and the expansive decking. The ramp, in particular, has been a game-changer—it provides easy access for our elderly family members, and our eldest son thinks it’s the best part of the house because he can rollerskate down it!
If you are a new buyer feeling overwhelmed by the next step, I cannot recommend the team at Clayton Homes of Hixson enough. You are in excellent hands.

Used car salesman vibe…decided not to work with them after all the hidden fees (sales price with no disclosure to show what you’re actually being charged for even after asking), asking if a lot model from a nearby Clayton could be gotten for us as we were on a time crunch, and instead of simply stating no and that the lots aren’t connected, they offered to order one at the lower price to not lose out on a sale, Communicating for over a month that we needed the home completed by the expiration of our lease (so as not to be homeless) and was told it could absolutely be done…until they sent the contract to be signed and in bold was “Clayton can not guarantee move in date”. But the nonsense didn’t stop there, they supposedly “requested” my $1K “home deposit” refund on April 29th, May 1st was told the check (even though I paid with a credit card) would be here May 5th, called on May 8th they said it’ll be 2 weeks, May 15th it’s suddenly “they” sent it but Clayton didn’t receive it so a new one was requested and it’ll be here May 22nd. The nightmare doesn’t seem to end, 10 out of 10 can not recommend
