  I really dont understand the bad reviews. And the reviews stating that Pine Forest was better before Alco and the new Manager took over. That is a complete lie. I have been here since my divorce in 2011. And when i first moved here it was trash, walking down the road I encountered bullets, syringes, torn baggies etc. Once Alco took over and mainly Melanie took over the place changed into a decent place to live. The other managers didnt care until Melanie came. She has done wonders for this complex and continues to improve the complex. So I figure the people leaving bad reviews broke the rules stated in the contract and are just angry they were called out on them. and the other half leaving bad reviews are the ones that didnt pay their rent. And I for one would hate to see Melanie leave because she has done so much good for the complex and the residences of Pine Forest. So for all you haters, You know what you did live with it and move on. Great job Melanie.

  Edit on 7/21/26 to say; As you can see i was replied to and told to contact them to discuss things, i reached out TWICE and Melanie IGNORED me. Really goes to show what kind of place this is lol. I would never recommend this apartment complex to ANYONE. When we moved in, the apartment was dirty and clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned. I’m talking grime caked under the appliances. But honestly, that was the least of the issues once we got settled in. Within days, we realized there was a major roach infestation. I’m not talking about seeing one every now and then, I mean roaches constantly. Everywhere. Even in the daytime. It got to the point where we couldn’t feel comfortable in our own home. We brought our concerns to management multiple times, but felt completely dismissed. Melanie was difficult to deal with. She was invasive, rude, abrupt, and made us feel like we were the problem for bringing up legitimate concerns about the condition of the apartment. She kept repeating, “My professional exterminator says there’s no sign of roaches.” Yeah, okay. He was in my apartment for all of 2 minutes. How can you do a thorough inspection in 2 minutes? There was ALWAYS animal feces everywhere in the grass. You can’t even walk to the dumpster without stepping in dog crap, which is disgusting and unhygienic. I spoke with neighbors who told me they had been dealing with serious bug problems long before we moved in, so bad that bugs were coming through electrical outlets, and management wasn’t doing anything about it. The situation with the bugs and management was so bad that we ended up moving out less than 2 months after signing our lease. Moving is expensive and stressful, especially with a one-year-old, and leaving that quickly was never part of the plan, but the conditions were that severe. If you’re considering living here, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Our experience was incredibly disappointing, and from my research, we aren’t the only ones who have had these issues at Pine Forest. Do not fall for the trap!
