  I haven't been getting my mail at the apartments and couldn't figure out where it was sent to. Upon inquiring I was told that they notified a family member instead of me about that I need to contact the post officer regard to my mailbox so for a month plus important mail including medical and financial has been forwarded to God knows where. When they sent pest control to my house when I wasn't home which I did ask about they moved my stuff and did not put it back they opened doors and cabinets and things fell due to the inconsideration and lack of being able to close things and put things back where they belong. I close certain doors to keep my cat out when I'm not home and had things hanging from doors which were on the floor when I got home. Edit: so I came home to a message claiming that I smoked and that they would evict me if I continued fun fact I don't smoke secondarily I mostly stay at my girlfriend's house so this was a threat by the office so do you want if you're going to move here you'll have trouble for management especially if you leave a review I'm assuming. But I can actually prove that I haven't been home to smoke nor do I smoke anything whatsoever. But apparently they don't like my review I like to make accusations with zero proof whatsoever. Like I posted previously pest control moved my things and didn't put them back and left my house a mess and left my pet open to get into my stuff when I specifically lock them out of certain rooms. Apparently they'll threaten when they don't like something and I'm never home. They don't mind falsely writing a passive aggressive comment with the intention to intimidate that's simply untrue so buyer/renter beware. And I haven't received my mail for a month because nobody told me when I moved in that you have to go to the post office in order to get your mail key they told my mother who's 70 and didn't remember to tell me but upon talking to her she didn't hear anything from them to begin with. So essentially the woman in the office forgot and wants to blame and deny responsibility. They're not professional whatsoever and if you run into problems they'll threaten you and create accusations and run away from responsibility they're inconsiderate and don't respect their tenants. I'm in my legal bounds to make a comment to write whatever the I want and if they can't do their jobs ir act professional and want to treat their tenants like crap who they believe they can threaten arbitrarily they're going to hear back from me. I'm just going to sit there and take that. If they ever tried to evict I will seek legal counsel nor can they run over my rights. If they try and do anything illegally they will hear back from me and whatever counsel I can get. But if you're wondering if this would be a good place to rent from just know that that woman in the office wouldn't be able to handle any customer service job. I called their property management and left a voicemail hopefully they have enough dignity to sort it out if they want happy tenants and more business. If I was considering moving here in head other options I would reconsider, if you don't want to be bothered hassled or threatened.

  Melanie is such a pleasure to work with, she's always exceptional and thorough in her line of work. She's very friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend!!

  I really dont understand the bad reviews. And the reviews stating that Pine Forest was better before Alco and the new Manager took over. That is a complete lie. I have been here since my divorce in 2011. And when i first moved here it was trash, walking down the road I encountered bullets, syringes, torn baggies etc. Once Alco took over and mainly Melanie took over the place changed into a decent place to live. The other managers didnt care until Melanie came. She has done wonders for this complex and continues to improve the complex. So I figure the people leaving bad reviews broke the rules stated in the contract and are just angry they were called out on them. and the other half leaving bad reviews are the ones that didnt pay their rent. And I for one would hate to see Melanie leave because she has done so much good for the complex and the residences of Pine Forest. So for all you haters, You know what you did live with it and move on. Great job Melanie.
