  I normally never leave a review however with how things have been in the last year and change something needs to be said. Firstly when I moved in rent was very reasonable for the one bedroom I had rented. The first two years were “good” only major issue was my dishwasher blew the main water supply line which caused a major leak. When maintenance was informed they came out two or three days after even went it was put in as an emergency repair. When they found the broken part they told me it would be fixed the next day. When I got back home from work that day I was surprised to see that it had indeed not been fixed and when I called the office they told me they would reach out to maintenance. It finally got fixed after two weeks of waiting and not being able to use water for that time. They said “the part was on back order” and when I asked why had they told me it would fixed next day they couldn’t give me a straight answer. My last year with them things have been significantly worse, parking had become so bad that they got a contract with a towing company to tow cars “miss parked and not suppose to be there”. Even with that parking still is bad and no noticeable difference was seen. Lastly two topics for anyone considering moving in is pricing my first year the apartment I had was 1000 a month, my last year moving out rent was 1300 a month for a 12 month lease. Still the same one bedroom and no change in living comfortably. When moving out I failed to give proper written notice and missed the deadline by 13 days. Which for those 13 days they charge month to month rent which was priced at 1750 for a ONE bedroom apartment. When questioning the front office workers about it and who creates the pricing they said “someone in upper management using statistics” when I asked to speak to a a higher manager they said there is no one higher who would listen, they told me I could technically “call” corporate but it would just go to voicemail and they front office would deal with it. Find this staff very unprofessional and very overpriced for an apartment.

  Maintenance is lazy breezeways are not kept cleaned. This is the responsibility of the apartment complex.

  I have moved around quite a lot over the years and must say that Rise is the best community I have ever lived in! The office staff is truly wonderful and amazing as well as the maintenance team! The property itself is so pretty since it is right against the mountain and it is maintained to perfection. I love calling this community my home and feel very safe here!

  Cockroaches in the kitchen. I had a leak in the bathroom that I pointed out when I moved in and never got fixed. The AC went out during a heat wave, and I had to complain to the property manager about temps inside being in the high 80s-low 90s with animals inside and how for $1200 a month (not including utilities), that was unacceptable- it was still a week before it was fixed. They charge for water and the first week I was there, I put in a request to fix a toilet that perpetually ran. That took 3 weeks to fix and I had to confront maintenance who was waiting on another crew to come by for hours before they came by to fix it. Because of all this, I let them know I would not be renewing my lease, and are still trying to trap me for several extra days at the end; making me consult legal counsel. My neighbor also has exposed wiring under his sink that has some of the studs putting out live electricity. The floors are uneven in ever apartment I went inside except the show room. I would look for one of the other apartments on mountain creek if you don't have any other choices.

  Had a tour appointment today at 12. Showed up to an empty and closed office. We didn’t receive any email or text notifying us of cancelation, the roads were just fine, they showed as open online and on the outside of the door, and we booked this a week in advance. We even received a reminder text the day before. I’d reschedule but this alone makes me question the overall customer service and management if they can’t even notify us about canceling the tour and their office being closed.
