I have so much to say about this place. For starters, I’d like to give a HUGE shoutout to Courtney Murrah and Jasmine Mack. They are such assets to ATC and should literally be used as the face of the company. They’re the one and only reason I have anything good to say about ATC or The Vista.
Nichelle, the property manager at The Vista, was really wonderful at the start when I first called in to ask for an application. I felt like we had hit the jackpot with her. The application process is insanely easy, which was a good sign. Nichelle’s communication was great at that point. However, on move in day, I told her we’d be there only about 45 minutes before they closed to get our keys. Mind you, we were moving from an entirely different state and things happen. She immediately got an attitude and told me we were cutting it really close to closing time and that they don’t like to rush move in. It’s almost as if having to stay over a couple of minutes to help a customer with move in would be the end of the world. I work in management and am happy to stay after any time I can a customer needs me. When we got there, it literally took 10-15 minutes max and we were on our way. No big deal—I assumed it was just a bad day for her.
From that point, Nichelle’s management really went downhill. She became rude, short, unsympathetic, and truly acted like she didn’t want to be bothered with tenants. My emails would go unreplied to for days, and sometimes even weeks, at a time. I’d have to follow up consistently to get a response. Even at move out, she refused to acknowledge that they received my move out notice or keys in the dropbox until I repeatedly emailed. She then told me I’d receive a move out statement within days. Weeks later, I still hadn’t received anything from her. After several attempts to follow up, I found contact information for Courtney and Jasmine. I went above Nichelle’s head immediately because I was exhausted with the lack of communication and professionalism. Thankfully Courtney and Jasmine were a breath of fresh air and immensely helpful.
Regarding the facility itself, it’s a cute place with reasonable prices, but it is going downhill as time passes. Neighbors smoke weed to the point where it stinks up neighboring units and management refuses to take action. Breezeways are atrocious from bugs, pet hair, dust, pollen, gum stuck to steps, etc. Pet owners rarely pick up dog poop and the facility doesn’t enforce the pickup of pet waste despite what the lease agreements claim. Gym is mediocre with limited equipment and plenty of roaches to keep you company while you get a pump. Maintenance is unprofessional and bang on your door like they’re serving a murder warrant. Pest control is to be included with rent but is only scheduled upon request—and even when a pest control technician comes out, you have to literally argue with them to convince them to spray your house proactively out of precaution. Thankfully my unit didn’t have bugs, probably because I nuked it with bug spray on a consistent basis both indoor and outdoor, but still. Paying for something as a part of rent and it not happening is a bummer.
Anywho, after the experience I had, I wouldn’t recommend living here. If property management cared about tenants, was communicative and kind, and tried to actually manage the place, it’d be such a great place. Until then, learn from my mistake and steer clear 😕

My husband and I recently moved into The Vista about a month ago, and we have absolutely loved our experience so far! As a military family, we didn’t have much say in where we would be stationed or much time to carefully plan where we wanted to live. Taking a chance on The Vista ended up being one of the best decisions we could have made.
This is my very first apartment, and I was honestly so nervous about the whole experience. From the moment we arrived, everyone has been incredibly welcoming. The community is friendly, neighbors are kind, and the management team has been wonderful to work with. They always greet us with a smile , wave or say hello even when they’re just driving by on the golf cart. It’s those little things that make this community feel like home.
The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We truly feel valued as residents, and that means so much.
We’re beyond happy to call The Vista home and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. If you’re looking for a place with a great community and an amazing management team, I can’t recommend The Vista enough!

So me & my husband have been here for a year and never had any maintenance issues, and they’ve been checking for a leak on the 3rd floor in my area of the apartments. I stay on the second floor, and they came and checked out the apartment 2 days in a row looking for this leak. I have not had any issues whatsoever inside of my apartment, 3 days later they come BANGING ON MY DOOR LIKE A MANIAC 9:40 pm at night. All the times they’ve came in my husband is not at home around that time, and I feel uncomfortable with one man or two men coming in the house. So they’re BANGING AT THE DOOR TILL 10:20 pm trying to get my attention while I’m trying to sleep, NOBODY NOTIFY me like they usually do. I also have a dog as well.. I did not allow them to come in at night. So the next day while I’m already at work, they’re trying to come in again without notifying me during the daytime. When I arrived there I proceed to knock at the front office and had a talk with the front office lady (Nichelle) , we had some words regarding the notifying me before coming in situation and she blew me off. Maintenance was supposed to come in not her (Nichelle), so she was there to intimidate me. She ( Nichelle) has NEVER sat in on a job being done.. So I drove 30+ mins just to sit there and watch them knock on walls and run water. I did not like how I was treated, I really hope someone higher up can reach out to me so their employees can be retrained to handle situations better.
I have completed my application process, and now I am working through my pre-move-in requirements. The process wasn't bad, straightforward and timely. Once I have completed my move in, I may provide further feedback. But as of now, both agents were cordial and helpful. I really appreciate the list with the due dates and contacts. As, I am coming from a different state.

Moved here last month after selling my home for the past 10 years, I have been very pleased with the townhouse and amenities offered by the community. The staff is prompt and friendly. I am happy to call this my new home 💙
