I’m giving this property 2 stars because Taylor in the office has been excellent to work with and has always been professional, responsive, and helpful. However, prospective residents should be aware of several ongoing maintenance and cleanliness issues before signing a lease.
The amenities and common areas have been poorly maintained for months. The pool grills have not worked since at least March, and several long-term residents told me the issue existed even before I moved in. Residents have been instructed to purchase and bring their own grills to the pool area, which is unacceptable considering these amenities are part of what we pay for.
The broken grills are also not marked with any caution tape or warning signs, despite visible rust and metal debris around them, creating a potential safety hazard.
The pool bathrooms are in poor condition. They are accessible without a fob, making them effectively open to the public. There is frequently no toilet paper, the dispenser is broken, and there is no soap dispenser or hand soap available which is a health violation. Basic restroom supplies and sanitation should be consistently maintained.
There are also issues with the pool entrances. Two of the entrances are malfunctioning, leaving only one operational entrance/exit, which raises safety concerns.
The hallways leading to the apartments are consistently dirty and filled with debris, including trash, dust, hair, bugs, stains, and gum. The property would benefit greatly from regular deep cleaning, power washing, and general upkeep of common areas.
It’s disappointing to see these conditions, especially during the summer when residents expect to use and enjoy the amenities they are paying for. For the cost of living here, maintenance and cleanliness should be a much higher priority.
