  The facility itself is not bad. The concept is great! I think that the follow through lacked sufficient budget support and one notices this in the workmanship quality etc. The REAL let down is the management company that they have, managing their short-term rentals (through both VRBO and AirBnB); Black Haven Estates, with a North Carolina contact number. We paid for a 12 night stay, while in Greenville for work. The unit was listed as a 6 person occupancy, which is an absolute lie, it does not comfortably accommodate 6 adults. We have 3 children so leaving one on the provided air mattress was tolerable, but if it had been 6 adults I would have been livid! Getting into the unit was very confusing and a common complaint from other short-term renters we spoke with. The breaker-box in our unit had a malfunctioning fuse and we were without proper kitchen utilities (stove/range) for our ENTIRE stay. Both extremely frustrating, but what REALLY upset me was, our second last night they decided to take it upon themselves to allow a maintenance crew into our unit while I was gone. We are very cautious about always being around when services are required in our private dwellings and Black Haven Estates decided to ask permission to allow strangers into our unit AFTER they allowed them in, in my absence. Opening us up for liability and theft. They are the worst run management company I have crossed paths with, and that is saying a lot by today's standards. If you expect value for the dollar you spend and safety & security, I HIGHLY advise avoiding this place and finding one of the other, quaint, revitalized areas around Greenville.

  I currently live here! This place is amazing! The staff is amazing! Other residents are friendly and not into crime! Could not ask for a better place to rent and live!

  While the loss of Hayden is deeply tragic, it does not define the experience of living at Judson Mill Lofts. If you haven't lived here or personally experienced an issue, leaving a review distorts the truth. Please consider reporting or taking down posts that exaggerate the circumstances around Hayden's death—these comments are insensitive and show a heartbreaking lack of empathy. It is easy to be harsh behind a screen, but if this involved your own loved one, you would want compassion rather than hasty judgment. Before posting, please practice humility and basic decency.

  You weirdos with your 1star reviews . The apartment complex has nothing to do with what someone does behind closed doors in the apartment they are renting ! Go away , get a life.

  They seem to be handling a painful situation with decency and respect. We love Greenville, SC and enjoy visiting from Asheville every few months. It’s a beautiful city with a nice trail (Swamp Rabbit), beautiful parks, and great food. And roadside peaches!
