  Generally, a good place to live. My main issue is the excessive Water/Sewage bill. As a single person living in the apartment, who is only home basically on the weekends there is no way my bill should be $115 a month. I don’t mind paying for what I use, but I don’t like paying for what other people waste. The maintenance staff is amazing though!

  The only reason I’m leaving a TWO star review is because our initial lease of about 3 years resulted in a pleasant stay overall. But it seems that after several phone calls that were either unreturned or we were given little to no updates, a work order from five weeks ago that has gone from ‘in progress’ to ‘on hold’, and emails to the office, a negative review appears to be the only way to catch anyone’s attention. We recently renewed our lease as our search for a home to move to has been unsuccessful by the time our original lease ended. With the new short-term lease, our experience has done a complete turn. It almost feels retaliatory at this point. We put in a work order for a broken air conditioner on July 12th. It has now been five weeks with no meaningful updates or repairs. We have one portable unit provided by the complex that can only cool one room. In this SC heat, there is absolutely no reprieve beyond sitting in the singular room the portable unit is in. The rest of the house is intolerable. Cooking or doing chores is miserable. I have spent the last five weeks unable to live here with my spouse due to a medication I must take to function that makes me intolerant of heat as a side effect. We are even paying pet rent for two cats, one of which cannot tolerate heat due to having long fur. I had to pick him up to bring to where I was staying out of town for work. We continue to pay full rent with full pet rent on a unti that 2/4 of the living beings that live here on paper cannot safely live in. All of the above has been laid out in an email to a Nichole who has taken over following JoAnn, the former property manager, leaving. None of this information should be new. Likewise, throughout our entire stay starting three years ago, we have continued to deal with water damage the likes of which is extremely disappointing. It is not maintenance’s fault as we understand they cannot get onto the roofs for safety purposes. However, property management has been made aware of these issues throughout our entire lease. There are time-stamped pictures of the damage worsening over time, and our only update on that is supposedly some roofing contractors were contacted for pricing. Nothing has been done since and water will STREAM from the ceiling when it rains. Please see attached photos. We really do hate to cause issues as our stay here really has been overall pleasant, but we are paying a full bill for a townhouse that only half of us can use safely. We also do not want this damage to somehow be thrown on us when we move out. Let this be a warning to any future residents—experiences may vary!

  Haven’t been here too long, but I have to leave due to work. Amazing apartments. Super spacious and clean when I moved into my one bedroom. Quiet neighborhood. Nice pool. Close to most of all the major things in Columbia. Managers are very helpful. The only issues I had was the Rollie pollie bugs in My apartment I have to spray everyday, but they will just not leave... I have a seen maybe 5 spiders since I been there, but that’s just nature. I’m on the first floor and the bathroom is super small in the 1 bdr. Maintenance was quick and very helpful. Felt safe in the complex overall. Like how it’s in the cut and far from the public. Really nice complex. Sad i have to leave :( if they renovated the kitchen and gave the apartments a small touch up these will be the best Apts to live in!!!
