  I'm in my 2nd month of residence at the Lory. I have been pleasantly surprised with my stay. Initially, I was hesitant because the condition of some apartments appear to need more work than others. But I was under time constraints and I needed a place in this area quickly. I'm so glad I chose Lory of Harbison. Here are the pros and cons. PROS: Property Manaager, Sylinthia is professional, responsive, honest and forthcoming. The location is beautifully nestled near a lake, walking trails, and surrounded by mature trees and nature. Location is perfectly situated off the major interstates, near shopping, the hospital and the best school district. The apartment floorplans are functional and spacious. The free membership to the Recreation center is a great benefit and a huge savings. My children love the pool. Safety has not been a worry. All of the buildings were just recently cleaned and they look amazing. Maintenance is quick and efficient. Neighbors are nice and respectful. CONS: Apartments are older, and some units need more work than others. Some units need major renovations, cosmetically and functionality. Plumbing and electrical wiring needs to be updated. Water drainage after rainstorms can be an issue, causing flooding outside and around units. The new management seems to be aware of what improvements are required, and they have been actively taking the necessary steps to make the required repairs and upgrades. Overall, I recommend 4 out of 5 stars.

  Receptionist didn't show to much care or concern about my appointment. She basically talked down on the apartments. She says they were built in the year 1970ies and showed me The 2 bed and it was very small, no lights in the living room nor either bedrooms. No ceiling fans.

  I love living at the Lory! My move in was great and thorough. I love the area of the property I live in. My apartment is nice, cozy and quiet! Anything I need, Ms. Sylinthia helps me with no problem.

  I had a great tour experience with the leasing agent! She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. The unit was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made it easy to picture myself living there. She made the entire process comfortable and gave me a great impression of the community. Based on my experience, I definitely plan on submitting my application soon. Thank you for such excellent customer service!
