  I've rented from The Heyward from 2021-2026 and loved my time there. Friendly neighbors, wonderful staff. Speaking of staff, Mariah has always been great. She diligently works to ensure your stay at the complex is a pleasurable experience. She's caring, personable and professional. Just an all around pleasant leasing agent. As for the apartment complex itself, I'd say the price point is comparable to other complexes. So I don't think you'd feel taken advantage of. The grounds and amenities are clean and neat. If I had one negative, it would be some neighbors don't pick up after their pets. You'd definitely enjoy your time here if you decide to rent.

  Moved here about 2 weeks ago from Nashville without ever having seen the property or unit in person and quite frankly the pictures online don’t even do it justice. The heyward has exceeded my expectations! The staff are very kind and helpful, the property is well kept, my neighbors are super nice. It feels like you are living at a resort. Shoutout to Allie for being so helpful over the phone during my leasing/signing process!

  Great place to live. Nice pool, gym, and clubhouse. Lots of walking paths around the property. Very friendly staff and attentive maintenance team that promptly handled any issues that came up. Spacious, clean apartments. Different food trucks each week as well as other events in the clubhouse were great as well. Spent a year here, and overall would recommend!

  My boyfriend and I came to check this place out today. We walked into the leasing office and a consultant saw us, made eye contact and went about her business. We toured the clubhouse and amenitities by ourselves and had to go ask to see a unit. The first unit we saw (2 bedroom) had extremely small bedrooms. We went back to the office and bc it was raining she decided she would give us a key to go look at another unit because she didn't want to get rained on. Lastly, the deposit is outrageous! $500 per person. Side note- Bees Ferry Apartment had a consultant who was so pregnant she was about to pop, and she walked us in the pouring rain to a unit, customer service goes a long way...
