  Living at Walnut on Highland has been an outstanding experience. The location is hard to beat. Restaurants, grocery stores, banks, coffee shops, and everyday essentials are all within walking distance. As someone who works at Duolingo, being able to walk to the office has been a huge benefit and has made my daily routine much more enjoyable. What really sets the building apart is the sense of community and the attention to detail. The staff are consistently welcoming, responsive, and genuinely care about the resident experience. It’s clear they take pride in the property, and management continues to invest in meaningful improvements, like the beautiful speakeasy-style lounge and thoughtfully planned resident amenities. The building is well maintained, the amenities are excellent, and the residents are respectful, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. Small touches, like complimentary Saturday bagels and community events, make it feel like more than just an apartment building. If you’re looking for a modern apartment with an unbeatable location, a professional management team, and a community that feels like home, Walnut on Highland is an easy recommendation. It’s been a fantastic place to live, and I’d confidently recommend it to anyone looking to move to the East End of Pittsburgh.

  We were locked out of our apartment on Sunday because the door key fob wasn’t working. It took 90 minutes for “emergency maintenance” to come! As a result, one daughter was late for work at her hospital; the other missed her flight and that cost us $500 to rebook. Appears that the door key fob has to be reprogrammed periodically; would be good if management informed residents when the key fob needs reprogramming, so that they aren’t locked out of their apartments. And “emergency maintenance” response times should be much quicker.

  Would give 10 stars if I could. Lived here for 2 years in two different units, and it’s been perfect. The management is incredibly friendly and helpful, and any maintenance orders are taken care of fast and well. Noise insulation is great, haven’t heard a thing from upstair neighbors during my stay. And some units have THE BEST VIEW! tldr: It’s awesome

  Such a bright and happy building! The outside of the building is so unique with it's beautiful features. Inside the amenities are clean and cozy. You'll never get bored at Walnut on Highland with its awesome amenities like the fitness center, party room, game room, conference rooms, and more. When you do choose to leave, you'll be in walking distance from restaurants, grocery stores, and entertainment. It's a place to live if you love comfortable and enjoyable apartment living.
