I love living here and would 100% recommend it if you’re looking for something a little different. The building is a converted old school, which is super cool and gives the apartments a ton of character with high ceilings, big windows, and layouts that are all unique, so every unit feels different. One of my favorite parts is the community here, everyone is really nice and friendly and it actually feels like people know each other instead of just random neighbors. It also feels really safe since the building is secure and only accessible with a key fob. Dana and Rebecca in the leasing office are amazing! They are super responsive, easy to work with, and actually care about residents. Maintenance is also awesome and on top of anything that needs to be fixed right away. It’s just a really solid place to live if you want character, a good community vibe, and management that has your back. I couldn’t be more happy living here!

I’m really disappointed with my experience living in this building. It has so much potential, but it’s clear that management is more focused on filling empty units than actually maintaining or improving the property.
The building itself feels like it’s falling apart. The floors in the hallways are cracking, and they’re rarely cleaned. There are frequent issues with dog waste in the halls, and the entire building often smells like weed, which makes it unpleasant to come home to.
Inside the units, the condition isn’t any better. There’s chipped paint throughout, and the ceilings have visible cracks, which makes the apartments feel poorly maintained and neglected. The windows are very old and let in drafts, which drives up electric bills. On top of that, the AC is constantly breaking during the summer, making it uncomfortable to live here.
The washer and dryers are extremely outdated (from the early 2000s) and so small you can barely fit three towels at a time. There is no proper ventilation for the dryer, which causes the apartment to become damp when running it, leaving lint everywhere and even leading to mold.
Rent continues to increase, yet nothing is being updated to justify the higher cost. In fact, it feels like the opposite—appliances are outdated, and when they are replaced, they’re swapped out for cheaper, lower-quality versions.
Amenities are extremely limited. The only real option is the gym, which is filled with old, outdated equipment. There’s also an auditorium space that stays locked and is basically rotting away, even though it could easily be turned into a great common area for residents.
The basement is another major issue—it constantly smells like animal waste, which is both concerning and unacceptable.
When something needs to be fixed, it takes forever—like you’re asking for a million dollars. And when it finally is addressed, it’s often not fixed properly, as maintenance seems to have no idea what they’re doing.
On top of everything else, they got rid of the previous maintenance staff member who was absolutely amazing and clearly cared about the building. The replacement has been a huge downgrade—unfriendly, unhelpful, and seems to have no idea what he’s doing.
The leasing company, Red Tail, only cares about the money being brought in. They could care less about the safety or well-being of their residents. I would never recommend renting from one of their properties. (Look up their Google reviews all 1 stars)
Overall, this building could be amazing with the right investment and care, but right now it feels neglected. I really wish management would focus on making meaningful upgrades and creating a better living environment for the people who actually live here. I am so glad to be out of this place! I really hope Red Tail sells this building to someone who will actually care for it and its residents!

I really liked the building and my apartment was great. But the entire summer my apartment was without air conditioning and got up to 90 degrees inside. Nothing was done about it for months. The worst part of my experience was the people who moved in who let their animals use the halls and elevator like their personal bathrooms. It was absolutely vile and the ammonia smell was a biohazard to everyone. This place had potential but management wouldn’t step in when they needed to.
