- KHKristin HardyApr 3, 20261.0Extremely poor communication with the leasing manager and very inflexible tour scheduling. Tours are only offered during standard weekday business hours, which makes it difficult to accommodate working individuals. I rearranged my schedule to make a 3:30 PM tour, only to arrive and find no one there. When I called for assistance accessing the key for the “self-guided” tour, the leasing manager was rude. Additionally, I was not provided with any information about the building’s amenities. The hallway carpet was visibly dirty, which raised concerns about overall maintenance. The idea of allowing unsupervised, self-guided tours also feels uncomfortable from a resident safety standpoint. Overall, this was a very negative experience—definitely not a place I would consider.

I enjoy that the apartments have color and personality, unlike a lot of cookie-cutter gray/white apartments nowadays. Maintenance usually fixes requests within 1 business day. UFC gym is included with rent. Parking in the garage can be a little pricy, but for downtown it's overall good value.

Justin, Liz, and Cristina are the best property managers that we have ever experienced across several cities. They are responsive and proactive. Roman, the building engineer, is knowledgeable and hard working. The location of the building is perfect for downtown living. The apartments are large and well-appointed. Amenities include a social room, courtyard with grills, and membership at the UFC gym. The garage provides the BEST parking downtown. The rent is very reasonable. We HIGHLY recommend Market Square Place. It is truly the best that Pittsburgh has to offer.
