  Worked with Manny to move into a studio apartment at 1 Brown recently. The whole process was seamless and hassle free. All responses to any questions were timely. No issues with getting lease taken care of and required items. Very accommodating which led to a stress free move in day. The apartment is extremely spacious for the price as well.

  Rose, Manny, Tom, and team are so kind and helpful. Lived here for over a year and enjoyed it! The high ceilings and glass windows are incredible. Surprisingly sound proof, even though the highway is close by. Great location in NoLibs, close to 2nd street restaurants, Delaware River Trail, Sprouts, and the Spring Garden L stop. Would recommend living here! There’s the typical issues that come up with living anywhere in Philly, but the team at 1 Brown does a great job making it a safe place for residents.

  Anytime I start to feel safe here I’m reminded why I shouldn’t feel that way. Goodluck getting ahold of Rose or maintenance. I’ve been here for a little under 3 years and I have yet to see a proper manager/ maintenance person run this apartment complex. Expect no reply, no maintenance , and overpriced rent. Infected with roaches and pests. Maintenance is aware and doesn’t care

  Ongoing roach infestation, no real accountability from management I’ve lived at 1 Brown St (managed by GoldOller Real Estate Investments) and have been dealing with a serious cockroach infestation for over a month. The roaches come from the building’s drain lines — toilet, sinks, dishwasher — and have spread through my kitchen, bedroom, and living room. This is the third time Ive posted it was taken down before and they hired bots to review their building to boost rating.

  I have lived here since March 2025 with my sister and from the move in to move out it has been such a great experience. A huge plus about this apartment complex is the security at the front monitoring packages, guests, and food deliveries at all times of the day and night. The pool is nice during the summer, it can get packed on holidays (the 4th, Memorial Day, Juneteenth) but it is still cordial and not rowdy. Manny gave us our tour and since then he is a great person to see around and speak to. The maintenance staff are helpful and not creepy either. I would recommend living here, especially if you work in the city since it is close to the train and close to the highway if you commute with a car.
