I was supposed to move into villages of Easton in wary January, I spoke to the shawntika on the phone. She was very polite. Then when I got there to do my paperwork, her attitude towards me kind of changed I don’t know if it’s because I’m white or what, but she didn’t even show me my apartment then I got a flat tire the day I was supposed to take my security deposit. I called her four times. Nobody returned my phone call. By the time AAA arrived the office was closed. I went up the very next morning to give my security deposit, and she told me that I was no longer eligible for the apartment. First she said it was huds decision but I spoke to them and they told me to give her my security deposit she would not accept it, and then She said it was at the owners discretion, but would not give me a phone number for the owner. so since then me and my son have bin homeless. Im not sure what is wrong with Shawntika, but she does not have any people skills when she decide she doesn’t like you for whatever reason that’s her whole attitude changes. It’s very sad because my son and I were so excited to move in and it seems like a great place to live I don’t move a lot my last house I lived at for 9 years but my older children moved out so I no longer needed a 4br house. Just wish there was something to do about it.

Keeps increasing rent for residents that have been there for many years, 10+ years in extremely outdated units, while posting pictures of the updated units for new residents. Both paying the same price. Also, when there are incidents that cops are called for a situation, like a naked man trying to enter residents apartments, the people living there should be notified, but aren't.

Terrible place to rent. Took advantage of our son with disablilities by ignoring his designated advocate. He has combined type ADHD and is also a young adult without experience so he has an advocate. They also didnt even initally know rental laws and refused only to call and correct themselves. No apology. Ignored multiple instructions not to email documentation and that it would be signed in person with advocate present. They emailed them instead which confused our son. Took his 650 dollar deposit and when he had to back out. Charged him over 5000 dollars in a cancelled lease. Mind you the lease states he is to have a walk through of an apartment before taking ownership. Never happened. And he never even received keys. We contested and they said well we dont have a record of giving him keys but they say they did. Unreal. Our son has disabilities and we will not tolerate this. Taking advantage of someone. Being judgemental. Your job is to rent to people not judge based on situations. This place should not be receiving state money if this is how they treat people. I tried to work directly with the ownership. They refused to work with me directly. Their collection agency said its their word against ours. Well My lawyer is gonna salivate over this one. We have the lease. If they did a walkthrough show us a camera where we are walking to the apartments for our walk through. If you gave us keys. The budden is on you to prove that. We are going after your state funding.

THE ONLY REASON THE RATINGS ARE HIGH IS BECAUSE YOU GET A $50 GIFT CARD FOR LEAVING ONE UPON SIGNING LEASE. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.
As of April 2026, I was told that there is “no property manager” in control of the property while other workers refused to sign a document I NEED. Management only cares about 1 thing. How much money they can charge you month to month. Floors of the apartments are unbearably creaky and loud to the point your downstairs neighbor will file noise complaints on you for walking across your living room. Want to stay after your first lease is up? They charge more money while absolutely nothing changes in your apartment. Stuck there for another term after the 1st? Charge more money! Punish your loyal residents I guess. Hallways smell like old rotten garbage and 50 year old cigarette smoke. I watched the garbage man from their “Valet Trash” service look at his hand and wipe it on the wall next to the door in fromt of my apartment. That tells you everything about this place. The workers treat it like garbage, the residents treat it like garbage so then what is the result? An absolutely horrible place to live.
Find another place for your first apartment!!!!

I just moved here in December, wonderful community, plenty amenities, and kind helpful staff. I would recommend this complex to everyone! They have a pool, gym, community center and fun activities year round for residents!
