  I've been trying for 4-months to get a problem resolved with my annual HOA dues. I overpaid them this year. I've contacted my property manager by email several times, left VM several times and sent a formal letter with copies of the cancelled checks to her. I still do not have a refund check. I hope a supervisor in this office sees this message and will investigate why it is taking so long to resolve the issue.

  I've had a great experience with the Charlestowne Community HOA . Anytime I've had a question, Sherri or Beth has gotten back to me quickly with the information I needed. They're easy to work with, communicate well, and always keep me updated. I've submitted couple of Architectural Review requests, and they've always been processed much faster than I expected. The whole process has been straightforward, and I always knew where things stood. Managing a community isn't an easy job, and I know they probably don't hear "thank you" very often. I just wanted to recognize the effort they put in every day. I appreciate everything Sherri and Beth do to make Charlestowne Community a great place to live.

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been one of the most frustrating I've encountered in my 10 years as a Realtor. Our HOA resale package was ordered and paid for well in advance. Community Archives confirmed the documents were complete and ready for delivery, yet they remained held up because of a pending CCI status within Associa Mid-Atlantic. Despite daily phone calls and repeated assurances that the matter had been "escalated," we received no meaningful updates and no resolution. The delay put my seller's transaction at risk and jeopardized his purchase of another home, where he stood to lose a substantial deposit. At no point did anyone provide clear answers, ownership of the issue, or a realistic timeline for resolution. Delays happen. What is unacceptable is the lack of communication, accountability, and urgency when a customer's real estate transaction—and significant amount of money—is on the line. I sincerely hope Associa reviews its internal processes and customer service standards so future homeowners and real estate professionals don't have to experience the same level of frustration.
