  I lived here for one year, and everything was great—until new management took over. Shortly after the transition, my garage door broke. It wasn't just an inconvenience—it was a serious safety hazard to myself and my children. The garage door had come off the hinge and would unexpectedly slam down, making it dangerous to use. I waited months for it to be repaired, which meant I couldn't access my boat or safely use the garage I was paying for. Despite multiple attempts to get updates, no one could give me answers or a timeline for when it would be fixed. Since my lease included a garage, I asked if my rent could be reduced for that month due to not having access to an amenity I was paying for. Instead of working with me, they charged me late fees while I was waiting for a response about the rent adjustment, leaving me with a balance of nearly $500. I asked if they would remove the balance given the circumstances, but they refused and eventually sent it to collections. Months later, I reached out to Shannon because I was interested in renting another unit. She told me I would first need to pay the balance before I could return, so I did. We had discussed a unit that was becoming available, but after I paid, I waited weeks for a response about when I could come view it. I repeatedly followed up and received little to no communication. Eventually, I was told the current tenant was moving out on June 30, but despite asking several times to schedule a viewing, I never received an answer. Then I was informed that someone else had rented it over the weekend and that nothing else would be available until October. The entire experience was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. It felt like I was encouraged to pay the balance with the expectation that I could rent another unit, only to be ignored until it was rented to someone else. Clear communication and transparency are essential when people are making decisions about where they're going to live, and unfortunately, that was completely lacking throughout this process. I think management should take people's living situations much more seriously.

  Special thanks to Shannon, our property manager, and Rusmur flooring company. Shannon worked with the company to have our carpeting replaced last week. The two carpet installers from Rusmur were professional and polite as well. Having lived at Clinton Lake for six years, this upgrade to our patio home is appreciated!

  Reviews mentioning a manager by name aside from Nina are fake and not an accurate representation of the community. The negative reviews are accurate and I can confirm this as a resident of 2 years. I am solely here to echo their voices that continue to be ignored by management.

  This may seem trivial to some but if you lived here for 5 going on 6 years you would understand 😔 We've had a fountain out for over 3 weeks...gone are the days where it was repaired in 48 hours. Living at Clinton Lake is not what it was just a few years ago under different property management 😭 Dogs frequently do their business wherever they please, basic tenant rules are blatantly ignored day after day, causing one of the homes to look like a trash dump and last summer, they opened our private pool, which we pay for, to other properties which prohibited us from being able to use it comfortably. Cars are parked on the sidewalks which has moms with children and older folks walking in the street. We've repeatedly voiced concerns ... nothing is done 😔 It's a beautiful community, a safe community and it is NOT an inexpensive community. Maybe this will bring attention to our area ... where are you AR BUILDERS?? I understand you're a business and your first concern is keeping the units filled… But at this point it looks like it's your only concern 😡

  We moved in within the last month, and from finding the place, to moving in, the experience has been amazing - smooth and easy with none issues. Not only is it a really beautiful area with the lake, but it’s also very quiet and peaceful and the house immediately felt like home. Also the staff, particularly Shannon — one of the managers in the office building — has been brilliant and made it such an easy transition. They’re very attentive and want everyone to have the best time here. My wife and I love it! And I’m sure anyone else would to.
